Link to video While playing 100% category i got this glitch. Like Ridley's statue activates by itself. Maybe this can save some time if it didn't requires long setup

If you go into Password Menu there would be a default password. By mashing A you automatically put that password in and skip stupid intro cutscene. Saves like 30 seconds. edit: Link to video Also, maybe it's possible to clip into first boss room very fast and it could be faster than upper route

In BizHawk-2.2.1 and fresh developers build. I go to: File -> Avi / Wav -> Config and Record AVI/WAV and i select "AVI writer" or something When i close that window emulator crashes. "application stop working" Everything works perfectly in BizHawk-1.11.6

Original idea was: 1. Get that glitch when stage keeps scrolling and toad didn't actually die 2. At some point of the stage game start glitchin again. If i start "scrolling the stage glitch" from particular Z position for Zitz this happens close to the end of the stage. If you press any buttons it doesn't affect whats going on there (at least visually). But if you press pause it affects glitches. So you mash pauses and hope that it works. Looks like TGR did the same with Rash, but game start glitchen again much earlier and you don't have to wait to end of the stage. I tried to do it on real console and game start glitching at exactly the same point with Revolution flash being the first visible effect as in his video. I don't know why i have to press any buttons (except pause) if it doesn't affect what's going on at least visually LUL edit: I'm not that good at debugging and all, but maybe when you did it for 2 players your toads was considered like free to move. But when i did that "scrolling the stage glitch" Zitz get's stuck in death animation on bike at the bottom of the screen and that's why buttons presses does nothing. Because he can't move at all. Maybe it's not the same for Rash.

Link to video Here is my video showing the route for early version of Rogue Dawn The problem is that they ruined the game in last version (1.20). They ruined some puzzles, fixed some tricks, reduce difficulty AND more importantly added stupid speedrun route. Yes their stupid speedrun route are faster than route in the video, but it feels so awkward and bad when developers guides you trough the game. And it feels so much better when you destroy it by glitches and strategies.

The problem is when i do this on real console (AV Famicom + Everdrive) i get less variety of things spawn then on fceux. Also if i get clinger winger boss spawn (or some other bosses) on fceux - game crashes, but on console everything is ok - like boss music plays and i can control toad. So i assume this may not work on real console or on this combination AV Famicom + everdrive. edit: I did it on console from everdrive's save state. When you do that last part of "out of bounce trick" at the beginning of terra tubes - sometimes you can get so one of the helicopter things despawns. If you get that despawn then there could almost no lag frames at the last part of the climb. But i don't know how exactly do that and how much time it costs. That can possible save some time. Current warpless tas gets ~80 frames of lag on that last part of the climb https://i.imgur.com/ekq1lPf.png

Lava level are fine on fceux. Don't know why it's glitched on that video. edit: as far as i know only 2 dumps of this game available. One dump are repirated glitched MMC3 version with that Prince of Persian cutscene (tas uses this version) and other one original Super Game release that uses like 174 ines mapper or something.

Why are you always use glitched mapper conversion of this game? This is a hack to more common MMC3 mapper with glitchy backgrounds, glitchy sprites and bad cutscene trow in. Gonna vote no, because of that. edit: i think you can re-sync this movie to original version without to much problems edit2: and also, this game was developed for PAL Famiclones. You can hear it by music speed. So technically it should be played in PAL Famiclone mode. FCEUX supports it. It called "Dendy"

I made segmented run (not real TAS) that shows all new strats and some cool glitches. "Zits%" can be pretty entertainment. Like you can skip all sprite walls in Ice Caverns with the stick and then spawn necessary objects with the stick. I managed to spawn last warp, last checkpoint, but didn't managed to spawn end of the level trigger. Link to video JC said that he already got "bike glitch" with Zits.
