Ok. Here we go. I found this in first week of beta testing and it still presented in the 1.10 ver. You can go to the room that leads to the last location in one minute after game starts. BUT it will have incorrect scrolling and elevator to the last area didn't spawns. If some one finds a way to spawn the elevator then i pretty sure it can be possible to beat the game in like 5-10 minutes.

edit: just found a way to skip that new boss that requires rockets. But i don't know if it faster then collecting them. You have to start boss battle with him, then you use save command, save the game, start the game = boss beaten. So actual working route:
High Jump Boots -> Bombs -> Wall Jump Boots -> Spring Ball -> Bridge Skip -> Boss Skip -> Bridge Skip -> Skip found by RaijinXBlade -> End of the game
I found a way to skip bridge only by using all of this power ups. So you can't skip them. You need High Jump Boots, Bombs, Wall Jump Boots, Spring Ball.

In fceux, if you save FDS game trough the game menu and then close the emulator - it creates new FDS rom in fceux folder -> sav. So you can beat that fds smb2 8 times (or have many it needs), then get new fds rom that contains 8 times beated game and then you can use this rom to create tas.

There is actually no explanation why this happens. Why hitting the turret affects that 007E address. If we know why this actually happens maybe we can find other way to do this. If there is different way of doing it than maybe it's possible to this 2 or 3 times in a row with same elevator or maybe we can find easier setup for rta runs.

Really bad FDS sound emulation in Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa
edit: you play nsf file. You pause the emulator. You choose track that you want. You press "Record Wav". You unpause the emulator. Nothing is recording (without any notification, ofc). You have to press "Record Wav" only while track is playing. You can't pause, unpause, change tracks. You can't do anything! If you press something Wav recording immediately stops. It seems to impossible to start recording wav from beginning of the nsf track

Thank you!
I just was trying to recreate this glitch. I was thinking maybe somehow after beating first boss you managed to change that value at 03FB. And by mashing buttons i managed to softlock the game. Is it known glitch? Seems like if you press start at certain frame after beating the boss - you can softlock the game, because congratulation music doesn't start playing. Same with dead. If you press start at certain frame after dying you can softlock the game. Also you can swim in the air.

You play one game from flash cart than starts blaster master. Would blaster master when loading make full reset of all important ram values in this situation? I don't known
edit: and when they ask "you definitely turn of the power?" there is no straight answer. They said "he kill first boss". They just don't know that if $03FB=02 than only second boss counts as killed boss.
edit2: maybe even if you open flash cart menu while playing blaster master it can writes something in nes ram. Who knows how that thing works?

Twitch can Color a Dinos
When this starts chat completely stops for me. I have decent pc and internet connection, but still there was so many messages that my config can't handle that. It completely stops. And also i was banned in the chat for absolutely nothing so i can't spam emotes :C So it was pretty sad
edit: definitely this agdq was one of the badest for me. Not that many great games for speedruns. To many indy games. No classic nes runs that i wait every year. No battletoads, no smb3, no megaman 2, no gimmick, no zelda etc. I was so bored so i watch actually previous agdq events instead of strem

Because it ignores even correct overclock settings when you replay movie i was thinking that it didn't saves any settings at all.
Because it resets input settings and i didn't find that option - i didn't actually test it. Sorry
Like in fceux. When you start recording there is red circle and you know that you recording right now. When you play movie there is red triangle. It's pretty handy actually.
I checked them, but i didn't find handy memory watch tool. Like you put in it 3-5 addresses and can watch them in real time.

1.2 It's better to make .bk2 file first. You start the emulator. You pause it. You open the rom. You start .bk2 file recording. You unpause the emulator and plays the game. After you record what you want - you stops the .bk2 file recording. Now you can use that bk2 file to do whatever you want. Record avi, make screenshots everything.
3. You just select those when you starts movie replay. So if you pause emulator before you starts bk2 movie replay - you have unlimited time to go avi record menu and starts recording. After you do everything - you unpase emulator and now it starts bk2 movie replay from frame #0 and at the same time it starts avi record (so it would frame #0 in avi file). Then if you select in movie replay to stop on last frame - you have unlimited time to stop avi recording after movie ends. That will give you exactly frame to frame bk2 file and avi file

Pause the emulator -> start movie replay (autopause on last frame) -> start avi recording -> unpause emulator -> movie will autostop on last frame -> stop avi recording
This way it will be 100% sync
edit: you can also record avi with frame counter, input display and other stuff

So maybe youtube made 3 sets of encodes. Like at first it made sets of encodes for flash player that have only 30 fps encodes. Than it made another set that have 1080p60fps at max for html5 player. Than it made third set of encodes for html5 that have like 1440p60fps and 4k60 fps. Maybe third set uses different encode settings or even different codec.

Hmmm... Because if you upload on youtube 2048x1792 video you get only 1080p60fps at max. If you upload video EXACTLY with 1440 pixels height you get 1440p60fps at max. Same with 4k. You have to upload EXACTLY 2160 height video. (or maybe close to it). If i do 2048x1792 to 1920x1440 downscaling incorrectly that's just because i don't know how to do it correctly

And this is how it works for 1.5 years now. So i don't think that those tases that has only 1080p60fps would be re-encoded by youtube to have 1440p60fps any time soon. And obviously everyone wants that 60fps. So basically at least for now my comparison was correct.
