I wasn't trying to critisize you for posting the video. Only reason I started my "rant" was as a reply to this:

Oh, I wasn't trying to imply they're always getting paid by the makers of the show. Main message was that it's mostly an act by them and I know for a fact that some of them are privatly making money for pretending to be the idiots they seem to be. For others it's just the attention. Let's see if you'll still find it as funny when another guy turns up and does basically the same thing but in a leopard suit on the next show. ;p At some point, it just gets lame. No, you just haven't realized yet that guys like him get paid to do stuff like this. They aren't completely nuts, they're just pretending to be for your entertainment. The makers of the show hope you don't notice and keep watching it. Makes you feel good because it makes you feel superior. In this special case they might not have known that he was going to show off his d (or whatever it actually was that he has shown), but I'm not too sure about that either. Link to video

lol, there used to be a nice hack that would make it so Cleverbot chats to random users from Omegle without them knowing it's a bot. It auto-replied to every message, but you could manually make it so it would write another reply to its own last message. That (and connecting to a new user) was all the user input it accepted. I was like "ears?"... Mh, he looks like he had just accomplished something, but on the other hand this pose is totally fake. My opinion on this isn't worth a lot, but the first idea that came to my mind was this:

Exactly my thoughts. The lack of 3d controls makes it completely ridiculous and you'd have to be nothing short of a total idiot to keep "playing" this. From trying to play this game now (and I already hate myself a lot for it), I feel like it's actually laziness to develop proper algorithms that has prevented computers from outperforming humans at these tasks. Of course I'm only at the beginner level and others have been playing it for over a year, so what do I know?

So what exactly do you find so amazing about MLP? I can say that the animations are all exceptionally cute and the characters are quite believable. The only character I don't really get is Rarity. She embodies materialism and ellegance combined with generosity, but for me there seems to be something missing to make her character believable. It just seems so shallow, like I never got to know the real her through all the episodes. I wonder if that's intentional. The only real benefit I got from watching the show is that I feel more ready now for having a daughter some day. I have actually never seen a show that deals with so many problems that young girls encounter while growing up in such a high density. [URL=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkXKW_HBhAg]The Call of the Cutie episode[/URL] f.e. really helped me understand how it'd have to feel like for girls hitting puberty, when some grow breasts earlier than others, some already hang out with guys and others don't, other girls in class being really cruel about it, peer pressure ensues, etc. And at the same time it encorporates the theme of having to decide on your future job, finding your porpuse in life, while really still being too young to make such important decisions. All of that in just 22 minutes. That's actually quite amazing imho.
