Some German ones, though it's almost impossible to translate German particles (put into brackets). Sorry I'm too lazy to do gendering. Note that I've included some unpopular ones too. With him, the groat falls pennywise. -- He is a little slow on the uptake. So, after all, it will (contrary to expectations) become a shoe. -- Suddenly I begin to understand the situation. That's (surprisingly) a thing like a tub! -- I'm surprised, there's more to this thing than I would have expected upon first look. (In this situation) even the dog in the pan goes crazy. -- What a totally uncomprehensible situation! (If that should happen), I'll devour a broom including stick and sweepings. -- I bet that won't happen. In his case, hops and malt are lost. -- He is a hopeless case. The apple doesn't fall wide from the stem. -- He is just like his parents. That's as funny as a bag full of weasels. -- That's so very funny. (irony) He's full like a toilet's cig. (That's a specifically Austrian one) -- He is as drunk (full of alcohol) as cigs at the toilet are soaked up with something else. To fall with the door into the house. -- To act fast without thinking. So that's where the dog is buried! -- So that's the root of the matter. No tail is as hard as life. -- Life is hard and unfair. 'No tail' could either refer to 'nobody' or to the male sexual organ here. It's a pun! Everything has an end, only the sausage has two. -- Everything ends. It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. -- It won't happen. To drive with the (=by) church around the cross corner. -- To drive along strange ways to reach your destination.

I guess you should have PMed him about it. And I like that new WIP, I love how Pumpkin Banjo's hat slice thingy falls slower than the rest of his body when jumping. :D

Ok, if that's the case I agree that a BLJ-less run would make sense (in the future).

I know you can get into that circle using a levitation code. It has also been known for a long time that you can make the guy disappear then..

A BLJ-less 120 star run wouldn't make much sense now. Fastest time with BLJs should be attempted first and the current run is kind of out-dated. So why don't we, until then, just not argue about it?

The danger that emanates from terrorism justifies these measures. ;)

That really is not the point of this site, and it cheapens what is trying to be done here to suggest that it is. Look, 70 stars is not any more arbitrary then countless other already published runs. "glitchless" is often well accepted.
It's not the core point of the site which is why it has a concept demo section. I would probably vote no or meh on a 70 star run because there is already a published 120 star run and those runs would be >50% the same. The least arbitrary restriction for 70 star runs I can come up with is 'no lobby glitching', which is what I've posted. That doesn't mean though that I'm in favour of such runs. 16 star run as a concept demo makes perfect sense to me though, for reasons already stated and I don't see how suggesting that cheapens (?) anything.

There's also one more cut scene to wait through now. >_< But less repetition since the Ocarina items glitch won't be necessary anymore..

No lobby glitching for 70 star runs. A non-arbitrary category for 16 star runs is difficult to come up with though.. But there's a good reason to still accept them (as concept demos?) and that is to compare the TAS runs to normal speed runs.

I must say I prefer the original textures. Those hi-res ones can be a bit distracting at times.

Yes vote. o_O I don't know the game, had no clue what's going on and the ending confused me even more.

Your newest version desyncs for me as sonn as you turn super. Tried to disable Left+Right, but made no difference. Also isn't there some kind of shortcut in the last Special Stage? Like this? Sorry that's just me playing in real time, but wouldn't that route be faster?

On RBA.. I've always thought, it wasn't so difficult to understand, but whenever I try to explain it I seem to fail. Every item slot (C-Slots) has a value (which item is it?) and a 'pointer' into the inventory (so the game knows f.e. which bottle you use. this is needed to update the bottle value in your inventory after using it! you can turn every item into a working bottle using glitches because it's coded like that btw). Those 'pointers' are saved as an offset to the address where your inventory starts. The B slot doesn't have memory reserved for a 'pointer' to the inventory in OoT (as opposed to MM). There's the value of the item on C-Right on that specific offset instead. -> B button value C-Left value C-Down value C-Right value C-Left offset C-Down offset C-Right offset Address where the offset is stored = Address of value + 3 So if you use a bottle on B and catch something or release something, the item value on B changes and the game attempts to update the same change into your inventory. It looks for the offset where it suspects it to be and finds the value of the item on C-Right instead. It adds the value af the item on C-Right to your inventory base pointer. The result might, depending on that value, even point outside your inventory. The game then copies the new value of B to that address. In other words the game just simply executes the update bottle code.. Something completely different: How getting Bottle B works (not fully explained): Normally if you use a bottle the use-bottle code gets triggerred instantly. If you, however, use it while in air the game waits until you touch the ground. The game then executes the use-bottle code and updates the value of the last pressed button (!). So if you press another button before that piece of code gets executed (=before you touch the ground) the new bottle value gets written to another button instead. The game also tries to update your inventory then of course, which instantly triggers the RBA gltich if that button was B. Why this only works with some (weak?) items and leads to Ocarina items glitch with others (strong items?) is beyond me though. One of those weak items is the Deku Stick, the Sword is a strong one. So to get Bottle B you need to get the Deku Stick on B first. Which is why the whole procedure of stealing the rod is required.

K, done watching it now. Voted meh, as it really has some very sloppy parts in it, but it's quite ok other than that. And I vote for cutscene- and dialogueless versions, oh how i hate OoT for them being unskipable! But it's interesting for me to see the new route for the first time. I didn't know you could equip the light arrows like that.. Isn't there a faster trial skip which requires two bombs? And this run finishes with two unused ones? Hm.. Would be cool if there was a way to skip the scarecrows somehow. Seems like megaflipping isn't possible as an adult, too bad.. What about abusing some tektites, crows and ISG? Has this been tried?

That means I didn't vote and that I won't. (=no vote from me) It doesn't mean I voted no. That would be 'a no vote from me', wouldn't it? o_O If not, then I'm sorry for making ambiguous statements.

The point is if runs like this got accepted, random people could find this site, watch one video and think something along the lines of "Oh, nothing special.. Let's go back to Youtube and never come again!" I'm too lazy to watch this movie though because Oot's cut scenes and the pause bug annoy me that much. ^^ So no vote from me. :p

Not regularly, anyway, and I don't like beer in general. Though I liked a certain lemon flavored beer I had in Austria. I have forgot its brand though. EDIT: It was Radler. Thanks mr_roberts_z. Apologies for deleting your posts, but I cleaned up the thread a bit.
Just wanted to point out that Radler isn't a brand name. Any kind of mixed beverage which consists of beer and lemon and/or orange and/or herb lemonade can be called Radler.

Mindless Self Indulgence use some pretty oldschool effects too. It's not really similar but I like their music. The Mad Capsule Markets are also cool, check out their songs Fly High (PV has annoying background noise) or Chaos Step. Not oldschool at all and even less similar but whatever. xD You might like some songs by the Polysics too. But then again, maybe not! If you enter the debug mode cheat first you can use start+a to reset.

Google is also a great tool for learning English. If you're not sure whether certain expressions exist you can always just google for them and see the results. You can also try different variations and see which is most common. Just don't forget the initial quotes. This shouldn't totally replace the use of online dictionaries though.

I voted meh because your second rule gives you the freedom to take a slower route whenever you consider it not normal. There is no clear definition of a normal route. The run was still entertaining to me though.

Justification bias. The tiers are based on what wins tournaments, and the tournaments are populated by people who read the charts (at least somewhat). It makes the tiers look right even when they are wrong.
I'd rather think of tiers as something like a self fulfilling prophecy. If more people play the character its meta game will be better developed, making it a better choice amongst new players, as they can profit from all the ones who developed its meta game further. Picking lower tiers has the advantage that your moves will be more unexpected, which will often throw off unexperienced players who pick top tier characters quite easily. The concept of tiers trusts in the fact that the top players will also try to pick less popular characters, win with them and thus making them more popular, so that tier lists should get more accurate for any game over time.
