Super Mario 2 sounds like a fun game to TAS; however, I want the created run to also be submitted to this site, because I love having my work shown off. I'd definitely consider it if I didn't have much extra time, though. Survival Kids is short, but not impressive.

NES Kirby will take at least 30 minutes.

I have to do a personal project for school. So I'm making a TAS. Are there any good ones that I can do impressively in under 20 minutes? I'd like a game that won't take 8 months, like Mega Man supposedly did.

Does the extra-jump glitch help, though?

Isn't this game forced scrolling? How can it be speedrun?

I'm just going to list a couple o' glitches and tricks: - The 16-select trick. Copied and pasted from Gamefaqs: "During gameplay, pause, and press SELECT 16 times - no more, no less. Press A and press left or right to move to a different digit area. Press up or down to adjust the number of hearts, coins, and lives you have. After doing the debug menu cheat above, press and hold A and B and select the picture of Wario all the way to the left and unpause. You will now change: Small Wario --> Big Wario --> Bull Wario -->Jet Wario -->Dragon Wario --> Small Wario" - Hold A when getting a power-up to jump, even in mid-air. This also applies to power-ups granted by the 16-select trick. - As Jet Wario, after you start losing air, turn around twice and press B again to not lose any height.

I've done quite a few concept runs(thought none tool-assisted) and I can say that a tool-assisted one shouldn't take more than 7 minutes, tops. You shouldn't need any food or drink.

I'm posting this simultaneously in the N64 and GBA forums. I want to do a game in the Banjo-Kazooie series for this site, however, I am HORRID at route planning and the nature of these games is route planning. Would someone kindly help me, or better, do a run themselves? I know my fair share of time-saving tricks in Grunty's Revenge, so I may be able to help there.
