I guess you are new to TAS, because some projects take years to complete and this one is not a little one.
I'm quite familiar actually (Not on a technical standpoint though). I was just curious about this one, because for a while it seemed like progress was going really well and then activity for this forum sort of just stopped. I was just a little suspicious is all. I know that TASes take a lot of time. And While I haven't watched any of the WiPs (except the AI ones), just because I don't want to spoil anything for myself, I admire how much time you all have put into this project and I know it's going to be amazing. I'm glad to know that the project is still going. Keep up the great work!

I'm not one to get concerned with projects and their progress, and I know I'm a lurker, but is this project still alive? We haven't seen any post in this forum for a bit.

It was fun to watch, but the sound desynced starting at Casino Night and only got worse from there. I'mma still vote yes because I know how much optimization and time was put into this run. :)

Waiting for temp encode, but I'm sure it's gonna be great. [EDIT] It's yes for me. As one of my favorite Mario titles I think a TAS of this version is much more impressive because you see more glitches. Also the glitches in the DS version are also more fun to watch which ultimately makes the TAS more entertaining. And if I'm not correct Sharky is working on a 151 star TAS next now that will be something to be behold. I personally like this screenshot the most.

Due to expected high load on the weekend the frontpage has been made static and needs to be updated manually. It seems you also have a stale copy in your cache, refresh the frontpage with Shift + F5.
Thank you that helped! Much appreciated!!!

So for some reason the latest run I can see is from 2014-12-31, but when I click more it has the actual most recent ones. Could anyone possible tell me why it's doing this or if my computer just sucks. I've tried refreshing the page multiple time as well as my computer and nothing works.

That was literally the longest minute I have ever gone through... I vote meh just because of the lack of game there is to this... game... It made it some-what uninteresting.

Nice, very nice. Very happy with this run, while it may not be the fastest looking Sonic game it certainly has its tricks; voting yes.

Yes. This is one of the fastest Sonic TAS I've watched. The game is broke to the furthest extent it can be while still being watchable. The more glitches that are used the more interesting the TAS is. When you are able to make even the slowest levels (the mech level) look fast, that's a sign you've got yourself a mighty fine TAS...

The problems with the Bizhawk is the reason we don't have one in progress right now...

I love this route! I recently got a really good route for Tyrannosaurus Wrecks, like really good(IMO). It shows off a few cool tricks. Do you think we'll ever find another skip in this game? If there's any skip possible it would have to be the Bounce pad skip in T-Wrecks.

I vote yes... j-just publish it... I can't believe what I just watched... This deserves it of all the pokemon RPGS.... Until someone makes a Colloseum or XD Gale of Darkness TAS. I was so confused as to what was happening...

If anyone else could explore with this, maybe find SOMETHING! I can't seem to find anything... This OoB looks like it could have so much potential.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPkGMozz3nw

As much as I'm a fan of crossover game I think the fact that it's just a sonic sprite with Mario physics makes it a bit boring in my opinion. I vote no.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ4enYzi1Gk I don't know if there are any glitches in this video that could be helpful but I thought I might as well post it. This is only for Delfino Plaza, but I do plan on doing it for the other areas too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4lKGlzstbo So I found something in Emerald coast that I think bit save a little time. The trick is at the end of the video after the Chao Garden OoB bits.

In Green Forest you can get two speedshoes with the checkpoints, which would be nice if it's possible to add the speed of both speedshoes effects.
You wont get a x2 effect. Instead you'll never lose the original effect from the first pair. At least that what happens if you get 2 speed shoes in the treasure hunter levels. I don't know if that applies to the other levels.

It's completely up to you, if you go on Twitch and look up Madagascar you should find a run that's under 1 hour by Yoshipro. I have beaten the record but didn't record it, but there are actually a few skips you can do and they're easy to pull off non-tas so with tas you should be able to pull them off more precisely and maybe even find some new ones as well.
