I agree, it was amazing. I liked the 100% 'WIP' better because he is getting everything and not just running through it. It shows him using insane egg skills to get everything and that is really entertaining. I hope someone eventually does this.
Someone's GOT to do this... for all of speedrun kind. This WIP is insane; so beautiful. Did you guys see the room with the four lantern guys, 3 red coins, and the flower in the last level of the run? He clears all of it in 2 seconds. Imagine how great the payoff would be later on in the game!

Sucks that it'd be so hard. It really would be amazing. What made the other run so amazing was the way there were eggs flying around in every which direction each one making their mark. Really beatiful. I describe it to all skeptics of speedruns as though it were something out of the Matrix.

I don't believe I've ever seen this rom properly emulated.

SNES Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island (USA v1.0) in 1:38:57 by Spezzafer is my all-time favourite run. I'd like to see any SMW2 run and this is a good excuse as to how I could see another. :)

Infreakingcredible. I have to change my personal list of top speedruns right now to put this near the top. Star no question.

Awww... That was a sad ending! :( Well I watched that run over the course of a few weeks, putting in a half hour or so here or there... and once it's all done I do wish there was more. It's like coming to the conclusion of a series you've been following for a while. You don't want it to end no matter how good the ending is. Looking back through it now, also, it's near impossible for me to say Chrono Trigger wasn't want of the most beautiful, detailed, and thorough games ever made. Especially with what they had to work with back then. Truely a work of art. As for the run; it's too bad we have to watch the leaper fights over and over and over... but it's worth it I'm sure. I was disappointed to find out that that wasn't for the sake of a Triple Tech like I predicted. Seems there's a decent amount about the game I didn't know. Long long long run, must've been a lot of work. Congrats.

Should this movie not be in the hacked/concept demos section? I know it isn't technically either, but for visibility's sake and sorting's accuracy I think that that's where it belongs.

Not a bad run, very pretty with the slashing and the dashing and the slicing and the dicing. 3 things keeping this from getting a star in my mind: 1) It's a megaman series without any cool glitching. 2) Other megaman runs are slightly more impressive or deserving of stars. 3) 'Tran-do' or whatever they say before they transfer you... *shudder*... too often. I can't imagine how annoying it is if you actually had to replay levels.

This airship is so boring.
I just finished watching this part in the movie. I was thoroughly amused. Almost as much as I was in your second run through of the auto-scroller level in SDW.

This video is fantastic, but I have a beef with the ending tallys, since they're pretty much unnecessary to the movie and take up a lot of time... Could someone cut those, the intro, and the ending off of the vid and get it to approximately 80 minutes so that it would fit on a VCD? :D I'd do it myself but I don't have the software for it at all.
Pretty please? :D

Very cool run. Not as good as the other GBA Castlevania run in terms of star quality, but still very enjoyable.

Nope, there's nothing I can do about the intervals at which Plok jumps during the final battle. As a matter of fact, the jump button and up/down do absolutely nothing.
Most retarded final boss ever. BTW; in Blind Leap (I think?) the 8thish stage of Cotton Island... can you not gain more speed ducking and sliding down those hills? It gets you under all of the logs. I could see two possible reasons why it would not be an improvement: 1-It is impossible to slow down appropriately and you'll hit the water/fishbones... which... isn't really a problem since you're not likely to lose your health, 2-The more likely reason if there is one: it doesn't matter how quickly you get to the bottom of the hills to the water/platform, it's on it's own cycle.

I think it deserves a star too... How is it possible though? It seems faster than it should be able to be.

Soccer Kid. It's a pain in the arse game to actually play; but you control the kid and a soccer ball that you kick around at guys. How cool is that? Someone's gotta go matrix style on this one.

Is it just me or is this video long, boring, and very imperfect. The speed is fun sometimes but there's a lot I'm seeing that I don't undestand which is keeping the speed from perfection. Pretty unimpressed. EDIT: And it de-syncs a lot too! EDIT 2: Jeez! By the end it de-syncs by like at least 3 seconds. How is this hosted here?

For those that might be declined from bit torrent for whatever reason; I've hosted a mirror for the video temporarily.

I wonder about the star; I mean I understand and appreciate how beautiful the movie is, but IMO any star movie should be under 1:30. But, that's just my two cents... it certainly is one of the most spectacular movies here. And did it not also, correct me if I'm wrong, display ways in which the other Super Demo World movie could be improved? Mainly with the flying in certain star worlds I notcied.

What to say? Prtetty un-be-freaking-lievable. The highlight of the movie was definitely Misty Star Road for the second time; the pursuit of the Chargin Chuck, the 4 item juggling, the squat under the black plants that would've meant death had it not been for the auto-scroller. Definitely very cool. *sigh* Although, I have to say, after having beaten SMW several times... getting pretty far in Super Demo World myself, and watching every SMW and SDW video on this site... I would be perfectly content to never hear anything from the SMW soundtrack ever again.

The very notion that 95% of what's seen in this video is intentional is disgusting. Even after reading the details... I'm at a loss for where the point is. Though... for what it's worth... I am glad SOMEONE slayed this demon.

Wow. This has a lot of potential. Get back to me when it's well on it's way.
