Is there something I'm not understanding about the last part of 7-1? edit: and 8-2?

Edit: Ok, now that I started watching, I do wish there was a lot more playing with the cursor (to the music, to write stuff, etc) and playing with the skill selection (to make patterns, play primitive cellphone-like songs, etc) but other people would probably detest those so you can't please everyone of course.
I think that would have been a good way to pass stretches of time where there was nothing productive that could be done. I remember one submission that did music with the skill selection and it was awesome

I don't know if this has been posted here before, but this is just insane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyWZ3n6nzvU Basically a flash video of a custom made levels where as soon as you enter it, you no longer need any controller input to complete the level. There are others other than the one I linked, but this one is probably my favorite. It's just unbelievable how complicated some of the stuff is. If you haven't seen this before, you'll definitely be impressed. Edit: cut out wasted parts of the link

Although speed is extremely important, the MAIN focus is entertainment. Sometimes speed is sacrificed if doing it the fastest is unbearably boring, such as in street fighter. It still looked very fast and was quite entertaining, but there was still a lot of speed sacrificed to avoid being overly repetitive.

Yeah, I'd like to see the bonus levels too, simply because even though it adds time to the overall movie, it's far more entertaining that dropping straight off the stage. Also I agree that it would be cool to see a high point count, obviously as long as too much speed isn't sacrificed. I'm looking forward to your next run at this, Nico. :)

I'm sure nobody would mind. The votes are only something to take into concideration, and don't fully decide if a movie gets published or not. :)

Of course they are! Always being well fed and all, except the ones that are already dead... but they aren't happy OR sad.

Yeah Pyro, I'm afraid you have the wrong rom. Try to find "Super Smash Bros. (U) [!].z64", or better yet, find a .7z file which would have every version in it.

I thought the Metal Mario fight was pretty damn funny. But yeah, since runs are supposed to be done at the hardest difficulty, I'm voting no. I really did like it though. :(

Wow, those were really nice. I'd love to see all of the bonus levels TAS'ed.

The nice thing about PSX (Something I've been wondering forever, but never got around to asking anyone... what the heck does the "x" in "PSX" stand for?) is that you don't need a rom for it. :D

Super Smash Bros. - bonus levels. (Perhaps someone going through all characters in the same run.) Would it be possible to allow a hacked rom that has all characters enabled but no other changes?

Also I think that hyper active mode should be used in order to break this game faster. This can be done before every battle as far as I know, by rotating the controllers D-pad counter clockwise I think.
That would be pretty cool

Eyedol would probably make for the fastest run because of his power, but would he have much variety in attacks and combos?

Is there a chance that anyone who's joined this site in the last year might look at this idea?

Age has a lot to do with maturity, it's just not the only thing that determines it.

Oooh, nice to know there's an improvement in the works. Double Dragons were the only games I've tried to do TAS runs on. It taught me that I don't have what it takes to make a good TAS run. ;)
