Well, Nestopia has no built-in cheat function at all except the game genie, which is pretty limited.

So is giving or recieving oral sex in the state of MN... No one is going to jail for it. But if the debate is over the legality of ROMS then they are indeed illigal.
heh, even if the most strict, law enforcing cop in the state tried to give you a ticket it put you in jail for it, the case wouldn't even go to court. Most of the U.S. laws at dumblaws.com can't be enforced, and are simply there because people are too lazy to officially remove them from the books. edit: Just went to the site. "Oral sex is prohibited. (Repealed)" guess it's not officially a law anymore.

Well, I found out how the encounters work. The game has a value for the number of steps you've taken in the game. I found out my next battle took place at 139 steps, and I found out how to change my current so I could say I've taken 1 step the whole game, which means I could go a short way before having to reset it, but I can't change the step where the battle takes place, so I can't change 139 to say, 16777215, which would pretty much fix my problem for the whole game. Is there anyone who knows how to solve this problem? Edit: btw I did this with a built-in VurtuaNES tool. I already a good ways into the game with Nestopia, so I was wondering if there is a way to do anything with that.

Just wondering, is there a game genie code or something to disable random battles in ff2j?

Odd, never would have thought sound would desync a movie, but oh well. Also, if you are going to submit this as an official timeattack on this site, the title pause has to go :)

Weird, it just changed the options, then went to the title screen and just sat there. edit: Ah, I guess I had to wait about 20 seconds. Was there a point to that, Chis?

I must admit that I gave up on the NES FF-games after Final Fantasy IIj, which was a wee bit horrible. Never got as far as III. What's to like about it?
Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to play through FF2, but don't let that discourage you from playing ff3. It's way better, certainly worth at least trying.

Yeah, a lot of people do, since it's likely more people have played FF6 than have read "Ender's Game".

Came from the "Ender's Game" books from Orson Scott Card. Anyone who's into sci-fi MUST read those. :D

A better question would be: Who doesn't play ff6j/3 much?
Yeah, when I posted my message, I was thinking FF3 for the NES, not FF6. I never really cared much for 6. First time I tried it, I played half way through, got bored, and quit. Then a few years later I managed to get all the way through the game and wasn't too impressed. It's ok, but not that good in my opinion, which of course isn't shared by many. :)

This game is bested only by FF7! It's excellent!
True, FF7 is the best, but I'd go for FF4 as my second favorite. Though FF3 was a great game!

What about disabling outside links to your files as a way to get rid of registration needs?

At least you apologise your words about my work :) It would be great if you could give me some suggestions perhaps how to improve it or what you do not like exactly so i could change that perhaps. saying that the design is crappy may be your opinion but it does not include any arguments.
You really should read that before screaming at nifboy for "tongue-and-cheek spitting on SpeedRunner's hard work" The web admin doesn't have to do as he says, but he did ask for nif to elaborate.

you address him with such obvious disgust, disrespect, and disdain.
There's a difference between addressing someone with distain and being straightforward and blunt. "Prettying" up words is a waste of time.
Do you think a lack of sheer stupidity on the part of the user might clue one into the existence of links? Obviously not in your case, nif.
That, however, qualifies as "disgust, disrespect, and disdain."
