personally i would reject this tas because it can’t be uploaded in one video. EDIT: i would accept a tas that does one journey.

i tried it. it does not make the run any faster. due to the game pretty much being an autoscroller, i don’t think there’s anything to improve.

feel free to compare my 59.93 to your version of this tas. if it is an improvement, i’ll add you as a co-author.

So it's impossible to finish this any quicker/slower as long as you don't die and just jump correctly. Hmm.
as of 1/1/2023, triviality is no longer a factor for whether a tas gets accepted or rejected.

you forgot to mention that 0 frames were saved from ending input earlier. that was a very impressive improvement!

at about 7:30, it would almost certainly be faster to shoot the enemy missile with a small pause and not have to slow down as much to back out of the way.
thanks for recommending this. i’ll try it when i can.

oh, i get what you mean by that now. i thought you meant you had improved the menuing. in that case, i won't have to check it. however, i will add your version in the submission comments.

hello BlackWinnerYoshi. i only just realised this was an improvement over my tas. as i don't know how to install console roms, please could you remake this without using a rom and i'll try and improve it. thanks in advance. - LogansGamingRoom

there is a 3 frame improvement possible in Level 1 of my tas of filthy kitchen. you have to crouch to extend your character’s sprite to collect the broom earlier. however, even though the improvement is easy, the final boss is nearly impossible to resync. if you manage to implement this and resync it without losing any frames, you can be added as a co-author. thanks in advance.

When I looked at the RTA WR, I saw the runner crouching to extends the hitbox of the character at the very end of the 1rst level which saves 3 frames in TAS.
thanks for pointing that out! unfortunately this game is hard to resync so it’ll take a while but i will eventually implement that trick.

hi sand! thanks for the recommendation. i’ll try this right away and see what i can do. EDIT 1: from my testing, selecting different options doesn’t seem to change dialogue in the far future. EDIT 2: 17 frames saved. the minute barrier has been broken! https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638154511851953874

Thank you for making that TAS! Was good to see one of the games from my childhood again. A2600's version is definitely more simplistic than Atari 65 XL/XE that I had (a bit of a pity), but it's still enjoyable and the run is crazy at times, so Yes vote : )
thanks planet! unfortauntely the full 10 level tas won’t be finished for a while because i’m stuck on level 8. nymx will be trying to solve it alongside me when i can.
