just a quick bit of advice: next time when you find an improvement, upload it as a user file. that way you can edit your first submission without making a new one.

the final world is not, i repeat, IS NOT, a harder difficulty, bonus content or a cosmetic improvement. a harder difficulty would be 2nd quest. bonus content would be world 9 or worlds A-D like smb2-j. a cosmetic improvement would be a different colour palette and/or updated graphics. so please, will you stop wasting your time here and focus on a different tas project?

here’s another example: https://tasvideos.org/2364M - uses a level select rather than a password - was obsoleted by a full game completion lee, for someone who’s known as a legendary taser, you’re behaving ridiculously rn. that’s like if i submitted a 10 minute glitchfest of super mario world and said it was better than the currently published one, which is nearly 3 hours fyi. stop acting so bloody hostile towards everyone just because we pointed out a single rule that you don’t like. i’m afraid this tas is gonna get rejected and you’re just gonna have to deal with that.

on second thought, this movie sucks. now don’t get me wrong, the actual gameplay’s fantastic as usual, but if you want to skip to a future world, you should do that after you start the actual game. you’ve been tasing since 2008 so you should know this by now. no vote for breaking an obvious rule. go improve the previous tas properly.

1. yes, i did get it from the official website 2. i’ve installed a rom of an msx game from MOD EDIT: Do not link to sites that host copyrighted ROMs. Thank you. ~fsvgm777 didn’t know that rule, thx for informing me :) - logan i’ll check out the documentation when i feel like it

i’m loving the early input end tases, chard. i remember when ending input ridiculously early was a tasvideos sin. now it’s becoming normal lol yes vote on this and all your others like this for very clever strategies.

1. correct. slopes don’t make any difference in mickey’s speed. 2. saving time on the letter screens is next to impossible for that reason. thanks for the review, colin!

i want to make a tas of super boy 3 for the msx. i can't open bizhawk for a reason that i've forgotten. so i have 2 things i want to confirm: 1. when i tried to open "openmsx", it said it could harm the computer. i'm using windows 10. do i open it or not? 2. if i can open it, how do i load the game rom (i have it installed) and tas with it?

hi jquann and welcome to tasvideos. i’m afraid you can’t submit incomplete movies to the website. that’s like if i submitted a level 1 tas of sonic the hedgehog for instance. you should upload incomplete movies us userfiles. the rerecord count doesn’t look very high, especially not for your first tas. this means it’s probably not that entertaining. please try again when you understand the movie submission rules. well done for trying in the first place tho.
