if you don’t want a tas to be in the submissions page, you can cancel it. good luck in the future!

i had no idea that previous submission existed! anyways, my point is that as long as we reach an ending, no matter if it’s bad or good, we’ve completed the game. i may make a best ending tas for this game as well. and another thing: the rules for triviality have been softened as of recent, so i don’t think this’ll get rejected. thanks for reaching out to me about this!

If it's possible to publish the complete TAS in one single video, it should be done.
that’s exactly my point. the video length limit on youtube is 12 hours.

never thought of that. thanks for pointing it out! i might remake this tas with more entertainment. EDIT: moving around a lot can generate more lag frames, so i can't do that.

i understand all your points, and there’s some clever encoding ideas here, but in my opinion, a 33 day tas is simply too long. i don’t think it should be published.

this must’ve taken a LOT of trial and error to get right, and for that reason i’m giving this a yes vote. great work for an extremely broken game.

24 frames saved, still looking for improvements https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638236208319048671 EDIT: found one or two "improvements" after this, but they somehow didn't save any frames.

LGR, I think you missed the private message I sent you. i just wanted to bring out a problem with your TAS. There is one optimization area that sticks out a lot at 1:09. Because of this, there might be issues elsewhere that you are not cutting the corners tight enough. Can you please look into this and correct?
will do. thanks for pointing this out!

The completion message flashed at the end was tied into a contest the devs were running when Action 52 was released - sending in a picture of the end screen would enter the person into a drawing for a prize worth $104,000! Unfortunately, the first release of Action 52 had Ooze invariably crash on Level 2 (either when you die or finish it), and even though the second release allowed you to finish the game the congratulations screen still doesn't come up when playing on the actual console! It's hard to tell whether this was from sheer incompetence or simple lack of funds available to award the promised prize, but it's an important footnote nonetheless.
wow, nice trivia! i had no idea about that!

wouldn’t it be faster to wait until the time is about to run out and then reach the goal?

I can show you how to create you own encodes. It could grab a lot more attention on your submissions.

that sounds like a tough optimisation challenge. i’ll give it my best shot. EDIT: given it a go and i can safely say it's too hard to do consistenly at my skill level, as i got overwhelmed trying to optimise it. i might leave this matter in other hands.
