Flyers are weak to electric. Do you have an electric type that can take the gym?
Dragon is resistant to Electric though, so he'll just end up with normal damage. If you get an Ice type then you will get 4x damage due to double weakness.

I own Heroes, and I've been trying to get all the A ranks I lost from a corrupt save file (long story) Playing through again, if there was just a way to turn off certain sets of voice overs this game wouldn't be so bad. (Dammit I'm at the end of the game already, I KNOW who to use here!)

Losing the source code is still no excuse. Any hacker worth their salt would be able to disassemble the ROM, figure out the programming, and then port the Genesis ASM instructions to GBA ASM. In a week.
If you've ever played Phantasy Star Online on the US servers, you'd know how incredibly lazy Sonic Team is. (Didn't even get half the crap the JP players got on Blue Burst)

This may come off as a shock to some, but some bosses can be beaten the fastest weaponless. Also a full weaponless run may be the most interesting.
But then you are stuck waiting around for a boss to drop an object you can use to attack, it's way too tedious. I will admit ,though, that a one-power spam won't be too exciting either.

Seriously, I don't understand why they had to screw up this game. It's like they only did it because they felt like they should change it somehow to make it different. upthorns genesis TAS was still quite interesting though. funny glitch after beating the first robotnic :)
Sonic Team lost the source code for Sonic 1 a while after Sonic Jam came out.

We all know Nintendo's army of lawyers will just crush it a few weeks before release anyway.

The header on the tab/title bar shows up just fine, but in the actual page it's nothing but a bunch of squares. Oh and just to clarify, I used IE6 before this, and Japanese (and Chinese) characters showed up just fine.

In before browser wars. Anyway I got IE7 (the tabs are nice), but now I can't view Japanese characters anymore; not that I can read them anyway, but those boxes are annoying. Anyone out there know how to fix this?

Heh, I remember getting all the black Boos in that mode. I don't really know if it would make a good submission though.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Alakazam is stronger than Gardervoir. It's faster, and I think it can have a higher special also. Unless you could make Gardevoir effecient enough, Alakazam is the best choice.
How do you manage a trade in a single player TAS? Or is there some glitch I don't know about that lets you catch anything?

I believe imageshack's main attraction is that files don't expire.
They do turn into "Bandwidth Exceeded" images when loaded enough though; which ironically will probably take more bandwidth to load than the avatar. I guess I'll try tinypic and see how that goes. Edit: Done, what do you think? On a side note, one post away from 2000, JXQ!

While I haven't seen the finished product (I'm not a fan of emulator movies), I kept track of the WIPs posted at youtube and enjoyed every moment of them. Voting yes.

That thread had nothing to do about where to upload it, it had to do with why someone's avatar aparrently wasn't animated. Oh, and I missed the search option way up there. Kinda expected it be somewhere around the area with "New topic, post reply" buttons.

Not sure if it's been posted before, but if it has, a search option or a sticky would be nice... Anyway I notice that the rules discourage using Imageshack as an avatar host, which happens to be my primary source. So I'm wondering if any of you guys know a free spot to upload a <8KB picture so that I may look a little more... personified.

The thing about getting the emeralds is that not only do you have to collect the rings, then backtrack to Knuckles/Tails, you also have to decide between Knux/Tails on who's stage is faster (yes they both have their own set of stages). Obviously you would want to just barely meet the requirement rings in special stages to speed up the bonus score scrolling.
