back on topic... its a first run so hes gonna feel more comfterable doing a game which was done before so he can reference it. anyways if he wants to do a mario run who cares? if its not published then at least in the end he'll feel more comfterable with his abilities and be on his way to becomming a better, more experianced TAS'er.

i think someone said earlier that during the white screen the music is still playing so if it were removed it would be obvious that something was missing from the final .avi also i'm not sure if anyone knows about this glitch or not http://www.jaytheham.com/zc/oot.php?page=ootmc135 i discovered it a few years ago and submitted it to a user on gameFAQs who gave me credit on his website i doubt it will save anytime but the fact that the fisherman gives you a quest item you're not supposed to receive makes me curious if its possible to get somthing different that would come in handy.

its not that difficult to do once you get a feel for it but the trick is a backwards long jump start at the bottom of the stair case and do a long jump forwards and while in the air and still holding in Z pull the analog backso your forwards long jump slows and eventually pulls backwards, when you land start mashing your A button as fast as you can important things to remember is that you hold Z down at all times from initial jump

during the fight with the skeletons on the boat in theshadow temple, is it possible to manipulate luck so that they give hearts ? he had to get health later in the stage (wasting time) but in the case im suggesting he has to wait on the boat anyways so it wouldnt waste time to get health there

i'm well aware of this video, i just assumed that a longer one was created to include all pendants/crystals (ie completed the right way) with no confirmation on whether the above glich was allowed or not

this thread is really long so i don't wanna spend hours searching for this answer, but are any of these runs using the up+down/left+right glitch? i hope not because that glitch cannot be performed on a console. (of course none of these speed runs can be duplicated via console, however the possibility of doing it was still there, whereas in this case it is actually impossible) ps: please don't gannon-banned me
