There's probably the one thing that irks me the most.
About the 1000 years thing. Celestia and Luna were the only two princesses. They ruled the land together. They helped the ponies in the war on chaos, overthrowing Discord by using the Elements of Harmony. They were unfortunate to let the Crystal Empire fall in the wrong hooves. Then the day Luna transformed into Nightmare Moon and stated that she would be the only princess in Equestria. Celestia tried to reason with her, but to no avail. Nightmare Moon then had intentions to kill Celestia then plunge the land in eternal darkness. Celestia won't give up that easily. She had to use the Elements of Harmony to banish her sister to the moon.
Then years have passed, Celestia was the sole ruler of Equestria, she missed her sister so much. The Summer Sun Celebration was dedicated to her sister. Also, she created a holiday that revolved around Nightmare Moon called Nightmare Night. One more thing, there was a story about the Mare in the Moon, and predicted her return.
Years before Nightmare Moon's return, there was a series of events relating to Cutie Marks. One pony that made other ponies get their Cutie Marks. That pony was Rainbow Dash. She was the pony responsible for her friends getting their Cutie Marks (including herself) and is the only who can do the legendary Sonic Rainboom.
Now, Twilight Sparkle is a princess, she and her friends share their stories and write them in their journal. The ponies are after the magical artifacts, which leads up to the season 4 finale.
This is the best generation since... when the whole franchise started!
Forget about the 2nd and 3rd generations of MLP, as they're nowhere as good as 1st and 4th generations of MLP.
Some Bronies would watch Rescue from Midnight Castle (the pilot from 1984) and compare it to the pilot episodes of FiM. Lauren Faust even had the Brony thing planned since the late '90s.
And then there's one thing I don't get. The dubs.
The Japanese dub cuts out scenes to fit in the 23:30 time.
Certain dubs don't do some songs (if any) like the Turkish dub with the Cupcake Song in English, as well as the Taiwanese dub which has all the songs in English.
The Russian dub, the story of the Mare in the Moon and the villain Nightmare Moon are referred to as Lunnaya Poni.
And in the Swedish dub, The Wonderbolts are referred to as Underskruvarna.
As a plus, certain dubs fix some animation errors.
I know, we live in an imperfect world, nothing is perfect. Wonder if Whitehawke will continue My Little Bloopers?
Anyway, the Japanese dub of Hurricane Fluttershy airs the same week as It Ain't Easy Being Breezies.
