Wow, that's very entertaining! And the movie file says this is only a test? Well anyways, can't wait to see more :). Btw, why did you choose 1-player run over 2-player one? Shouldn't the test have also been with two turtles?

Thanks everyone, but I have one question. How do you put the download links in the posts like that?
You mean like this?: [*url=http://tasvideos.org/submissions/1307.zip]Insert your text here[*/url] which will work like this when you remove the *s: Insert your text here EDIT: Looks like Guybrush beat me to it :).

Which Galuf vs. Exdeath fight is faster? With Bonemail or with Exploder? Otherwise the choice is pretty hard, since +60sec is quite much in a TAS but fighting Apocalypse would be a major fun bonus.

I'm very much with AngerFist in this one: the run looked like it could use a little optimizing plus I think this game is not so good to TAS. Voting no. But I must say, for a first TAS your run looks much better played than mine (Megaman & Bass).

Good movie. I liked this more than the previous one even though they use exactly the same route. Somehow your playing looked more interesting. So voting yes for being faster and more entertaining that it's predecessor. I have also encoded and .avi of this already, because i'm 100% sure it'll get accepted.

Yes, very good run. Before this I thought the 2-player run was near perfect but this is simply amazing. Of course watching it from 37" screen makes the viewing more pleasurable (damn, I need to visit home more often ;D). I'm absolutely sure that one of the judges will accept this movie, so as soon I get back to Turku, I'll start encoding it into AVI. EDIT: Would it be possible to control three players in SNES?

Haven't heard from you in quite a while, samurai goroh. Are you still working on FFV? I hope you don't quit because you are already so far. Good luck to you!

I'm glad you remade the HMC. It's much better than before - and I'm definitely not saying it was bad before. The WDW was also awsome. The second star really made me laugh. Boosting speed from that tiny slope to reach that far-away platform. I also like the way you use the camera. By lockin it in the beginning (at 4th or 5th star) looked soo good after seeing the same route twice before from the back of Mario.

There is a problem with the AVI recording of fceu-0.98.16. I tried to record an avi with it but the video was black, the audio worked fine though. After that I tried recording an avi with fceu-0.98.15, with exactly the same codecs and it worked fine. So the problem is in the new version. Either I have missed some important setting, or there's something wrong with the code. I hope someone would check it out.

Man it's hard to watch it. I had to watch it five times :D. First watching all of the MegaMans at the same time and then every MegaMan as one. I can't wait to see more. I hope you are as eager to make it, as we are to watch it ;).

Not bad at all, even though I don't like hip hop at all. In fact, I'll add your album to my mp3 collection as soon as I get back to home ;). Though, to be honest, I listen more game music rather than "normal music".

STAR! ;) Very entertaining and accurate run. Those glitches were amazing (which we have FinalFighter to thank, of course)! I liked most Bubble Man (stage & boss) and Mech Dragon. Those were simply soo... hmm... there just doesn't seem to be the right word for it ;D.

I had the exact same problem when doing DKC2 run, and after remaking the same stage over and over again for (or was it five) times, I just couldn't bear it and quit. I hope the same doesn't happen to you.

Nice job with the Spiral Mountain! And because you don't use the same eour as the SDA run, it looks less copied. I presume this run will take quite some time to get finished since you two are being so thorough, which is good of course.

Looks good. I loved those small jumps you made in every "boss door". You seem to have quite different strategy than what Vatchern had with his currently published run. And it seems to have been worth it. Keep up the god work you two!

If you like I can easily create DVD-R isos from the current AVIs with very simple menus. The only problem with this idea is that it requires huges quantitys of DVDs. For Example, I was able to put only Mega Man 1-5 TASes to one DVD. Another slight problem (which is mainly because the large number of required DVDs) is that it takes many hours to make one image (approx. 2-3h). For FODA, I'd really like one of those Mario 64 DVDs. That would definitely go to my collections - or rather start me collecting DVDs since i have only few now ;D.

STONLESS EVOLUTION If you have a Pokemon with a stone evolution, and you don't have/want a stone, you can still evolve with this trick. It all depends on who you have. First, put the Pokemon who you want to evolve without a stone on the first slot on your belt. Then, put these Pokemon on the 2nd slot depending on their hex value: HEX PKMN Stone 0A...Exeggutor..Moon 20...Missingno..Fire 21...Growlithe..Thunder 22...Onix.......Water 2F...Psyduck....Leaf After you do this, make the Pokemon on the first slot gain a level, and it should evolve.
Since Bag of Magic Food wondered it, I though I'd paste it here. In my oppinion, using the actual stones would be faster. That is of course if you have enough money for buying them.

If I remember correctly, there aren't enough Moon Stones in the game to evolve all of the "Moon stone pokemons" (= Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Clefable, Wigglytuff). I presume you are going to glitch the rest of them after you have run out of Moon Stones? EDIT: Okay, I guess I was wrong..

Voting yes simply because I think this one is more entertaining than the currently published one (plus it's faster :P).

Yess! Finally someone is making a 151-pokemon run. Though I'm not surprised at all that it's primorial#soup ;). In fact I was quite sure that he'd start it sooner than later. You go primo! To make the more entertaining (most likely), you should catch pokemonst through out the whole run, not just leave the catching to the end part. Or at least that's the idea I get from the current WIP.

I hope you are using gamepad to eliminate all diagonal turns, which eventual will take quite a lot time - unlike I did in my test ;D. Anyways, I'll be watching this one very closely; Banjo Kazooie was one of my favourite N64 games in the real console. So you are now aming for 100%, which includes what?: 100 jiggies 900 notes all honeycombs (don't remember how many there are) mumbo tokens Ice Key and the eggs activating cheats ?

Looks good but still somewhat improvable. Don't get me wrong, I know it is very hard to make N64 runs as accurate as possible, so just keep up the same qualit and you'll do just fine ;). If anyone is interested, my small (test) run of the same area can still be found at: http://koti.mbnet.fi/maza-/Speedrun/Banjo-Kazooie_run.rar

Oh, yes. Now that you mentioned that, I remember reading/hearing that from somewhere but never tested it myself.
