I encoded Foda's run, if that matters anything anymore. You can get it from here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/laitilan/Karateka-PlayedThrough.avi (Get it soon because I'll delete it after few hours. I don't have much space in there.)

vsmk3, I watched your run and that was awsome! You really showed us how you can also do the "doublejumps" with Megaman (with both Ice Wall and Lightning Bolt). I saw only few minor flaws which maybe could be improved with few frames. I think you should submit it. It's entertaining and very fast. Plus I think we need a Rockman version of Rockman & Forte ;) Either way I'm going to encode an .avi of this (at least for myself) once I have the time for it.

Yes, very clever (as AngerFist said). I wonder if it works with Forte/Bass also.

Yes, especially the "Rush Search CDs" can be excluded from the 100 .smv's. Btw, I'm really excited about this. Are you truly consciderin a 100 CD run? That would be something new and I'm quite sure very interesting.

It impressed me enough to start encoding it in case it gets published. And if you didn't get it, I voted yes. ;)

Gigafrost, Forte/Bass has one more disadvantage which you could add to your submission text: he can't walk and shoot at the same time. Just though to mention if you wanted to add this ;)

Hm.. Blublu is onto something. I also think that we (or moderators) should conscider giving this a star. That's because this is made so precise and looks very entertaining with the swift and large usage of different weapons (mainly Ice Wall and Tengu Blade). I'm not saying this is absolutely a star material but we should at least think about it. :)

I'm quite sure GroundMan stopped flashing because Gigafrost wanted to prevent him getting in the ground or ceiling. You see, if he has a Remote Mine attached to him while he tries to enter ground/ceiling, it explodes and prevents him to get there. If GroundMan got in the ground/ceiling, that would take enourmous amounts of time. And what comes to the worm midboss, you were absolutely right. You can't attack it in the first round it appears.

Yes, truly astonishing. I have been waiting this for about half a year now :) A very good usage of the Ice Walls and Tengu Dash. And nice find with the zipping glitch in second TenguMan battle ;) A definite YES! vote from me.

Because people have liked this movie, I have made an .avi of it. So if publishers are going to publish this, they can get the .avi from me (and thus reduce the trouble of publishing).

Oh yes! That will definitely come in handy when making a TAS. If i remember correctly Boco was worrying about the money quite a lot at one time.

So Vidar, have you started the FFV run? ;) And samurai goroh: what is that steal glitch you mentioned? I couldn't find anything about it in GameFAQs.

It would help if you told us the console it's made to.

Okey, the encoding worked pretty nicely and I got tracker from Bisqwit to share it (Thanks Bisqwit!). You can get the .torrent from here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/maza-/RockmanAndForte-WIP-33min-Gigafrost.avi.torrent Please be patient, my upload is always in some use. I'll limit it though, so you can get this ;) EDIT: Since the Rockman & Forte run has now been published, I (or infact Bisqwit) have deleted the WIP avi. That's because what would you do with incomplete run when you can get a full one.

Any progress, Gigafrost? I'm very eager to see this run finished and from what I've seen of it, it will be awsome! :) Btw, I'm gonna try my encoding skill on your current version of the run. So if anyone is interested, I may be able to send it somewhere, where everyone can get it. ;)

Thanks a lot, jdurg! The audio/video timing is now perfect. I'm going to concentrate on the 1gb problem later. Now I'll encode Boco's FF5 testrun. ;)

I'm having some troubles with recording any of the TASes with any of the emulators. Every time I make an .avi, the audio and video doesn't match. In the beginning they look just fine but at the end there's at least few seconds difference between video/audio (depends on how long movie you are recording). Im pretty sure the problem is not with codecs. I have tried many different ones (Tech Smith, Huffyuv, DivX, XviD, x264, + some others), but the same thing sappens with each and every one of them. I've also tried adjusting the emulators sound options, but with no luck as well. I'd be glad to help people here to encode some of the TASes, if somebody first helped me to overcome this problem. Another problem which I have encountered, is that I can't record an .avi which would be over ~1gb. This isn't such major problem at the moment, but if someone could help me in this one too, I'd be quite glad.

What has happened to those nice spins you made in the previous version? :( I know some people didn't like 'em as much as I, but I think you should still use them once in a while. I remember seeing only one in your new WIP. Otherwise it really kicked ass! ;)

As adelikat and andypro has said, this definitely deserves a star. The usage of the bugs and Super Arrow made the run look really entertaining, even though it's so fast. This is truly an amazing run. I can't wait to see Baxter's next TAS.
