I'm not a vested member, I'm just your casual "passes by once a week to watch all new videos" guy... All I can say is that I'm sad today, every communauty based website who tried to turn commercial failed miserably.... Whatever you can said, whatever the plan is, the damage has been done, this won't be a communauty based website anymore There is a reason why wikipedia won't take money unless is a donation... Imagine wikipedia throwing a premium section where you need to pay, it would be disastrous... I sincerely wish you good luck guys, you were a prime source of entertainement for me, but you opened a wicked pandora box and I don't want to be a part of this and I'm sure there's a lot of people who think like me...

Hi, I'm working on my website, www.goldencrate.com a website for game collectors, I want to build the most complete database of every video games and their version and I have trouble finding lists of games available in the PAL A & B territories. These are easy to track because PAL A (New England, Aussies...) games have a big A in the down right corner, and PAL B (continental Europe) have all the same thing. I can't find a list which distinguishes them and it's hard for me to do since I'm from Canada... Anyone can help me?

Hi, I'm not 100% sure about this , but If I remember correctly, when I was a kid, I didn't know how to get into the 6th palace but I was able to get into the last one. So you don't need to kill all the bosses and put a crystal on every castle to get into the last palace. What you need to do is use the fairy spell (and maybe the shield/reflect spell) and pass throught the magnetic field(or whatever this is) and if you have enough life/heart , you will pass throught it. I don't know if this was discussed before, but I guess it will be faster.

I'm still doing it, I was very busy this week and I will be more busy this week but I will find the time needed to improve my wip... If I finish this game, I don't think I will make history with it ... :-P As for strategies, I played this games a lot back in a day and I know every of its secret. My handicap is that I didn't do a TAS before and I discovered a lot of thing unexpected like the lag which forced me to change my strategies... Boss figthing tactic of inzult is probably perfect (unless someone find a better way) until the laser gun is taken. First I tought that I will be faster than inzult but lag and the fact that the bullet fired disappear when you switch to your fist made my strategie slower... So the first two level will look identical to the Inzult wip... I will post a new wip when I will finish the first 2 levels... Except it in 2 weeks (damn, my english is bad sorry, I know there's a lot of mistakes in all I said)

Omg, my first WIP... This is really short I know (sorry about that) but : http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/890708928/MetalChurch%20First%20Wip.fcm I'm 3 frames faster at this point than Inzult... I'm very happy ! And I discovered something (that Inzult have already discovered...) The second soldier I kill, I kill it with one single action... You can shoot a gunfire, press select, and you will automatically give a punch... That's how I killed the second guard, and I will kill the first boss this way... Woohoo, I'm on a good way I guess... I will finish this stage today I guess, that will be my first TASed boss fight Edit : I had to redo nearly everything... I discovered that when there's more than 5 moving object on the screen, the game begin to lag and moving become 2x slower... But I'll keep going Edit 2 : http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/20321908/MetalChurch%20First%20Wip.fcm Now I'm 15 frames slower... damn, I wasn't able to do what I wanted to do, I think that Inzult run of the first stage is perfect... Anyway that's all I will be able to do this week, I will redo the whole thing as soon as I can

Okay, long time ago, I rent a nes game that I can't remember the name... The game play was very similar to Double Dragon 2. In fact, it looked like a Double Dragon parody... You were a teen fighting weird enemies... I remember a level where you fight women who hit you with their handbag and the final boss of this level was a chubby woman who grabs you and slap you in the face... Do you know the name of this game?

Okay, I figured how I lost a frame on menu transition, You have to press start at 3 differents times to get to the Atlantis Map... I figured that if you wait 1 or 2 frames (depending) after you can press start, the map will appear up to 10 frames faster... That's really weird, there is some randomness on when the menu appear... Damn, I've spend more than 5 hours for 1000 frames just for skipping the first menu and animation... I will continue tomorrow, anyway I have free time left, I've lost my job!!!

Okay, I've done some try and for now : In menu transition I'm one frame slower than Inzult and for now I really didn't understand why... As I tought, jumping is faster than walking, and jump/kick is faster than just jumping... (that's not a discovery I know) and I think I underestimated the work needed to make a "perfect" run, even if I knew it would be very hard... I think I begin to feel the "newbie" frustration about TASing but I will do my best...

Since there's no reply on this topic for a month I just want to know how it's going because I might give it a try... I want to know if you're still working on this Inzult? And if there's someone else who is working on this (maybe Ferret_Warlord?!? ) I like Inzult's strategies to fight boss, but I'm pretty sure that upgrading your gun to the level 3 on the first stage will do more damage to the boss, but it will be much slower since jump kick seems the fastest way to complete level... Anyway the laser beam is the most powerfull in this game because if I remember, missiles are pretty bad... The fastest route is the Green one in the Inzult picture but the Destro stage is the longest and Snake Eye (the one with the most powerful move) and Storm Shadow (the fastest one with Snake Eye) will be missing... But I'm sure even with that, the fastest route is the green one... So this run will be a General Hawk only run, but I think that the final result will be a very entertaining run. I will try to submit a test run soon, but I will need some motivation I guess, cause the only thing closest to a TAS I ever done is a sucky Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout test run, and I'm very lazy... But I always been fascinated about everyone work in here and I would be proud to have a little place in it!

I'm voting Xipo for the amount and the variety of all his TAS (and quality).

Okay, I watched your wip (with a good rom, no desynch) ... This is a really bad game choice... I don't know how hard it is but it look too easy... The music is too repetitive, my ear even started to bleed... Even the game seems repetitve, like they use the same scene over and over (on the Great wall level) . The mine level is very boring too (and the climbing scene doesn't seem optimized) Sorry, but even if your playing is 100% perfect (even with glitches) I'm pretty sure that if you submit a full run it will be rejected... Try a better game and read all the ressources on this site (faq, forum...).

Even if I had not played this game before, the run entertained me a lot... It seems optimal, the hack seems pretty well done, and suitable for a TAS. I really appreciated your work! I can compare your glitch to the Megaman 1 run, Everything that can be skipped must be skipped I think, that's the goal of a TAS, and the goal of this site is to publish perfect movies and that's why I don't agree with this :
Now maybe if you had completed every dungeon, I might have given it a Yes.

Voted yes, I never played this game, the run seems optimized, some cool moments like the death to save time... The music is average (but far from being painful) but I think it's still better than the last Paris Hilton cd... It's a weak yes vote because I don't see any challenge in this game, no ennemie, nothing else to do beside catching key objects and gave them back to their belonger... But it entertain me.
