You used the pause glitch to beat the game which violates the runs objectives so no vote.

If someone was to do an Arbitrary Code Execution TAS on this game in the future. What would count as obsoleting this TAS?

This takes My Little Pony hack on Pokémon Yellow to a new level. Could the author please explain the limitations of what can be created during the hacking process? For example would a more advanced game like Space Invaders or Pacman be possible? Is the input limited to one controller?

I still prefer Bloob's screenshot to all of these.

Why didn't you get a blue rupee drop from the rock in Kakariko? Surely that would have been faster over getting one at the stepping stones.

I always thought of zggzdydp as "ziggy dip". If I have done the phonetic thing correctly: /'zɪɡidɪp/
It's "zigs-zay-dip"

The oldest archived version I could find with this site is on 6th June 2006. Notice how there is a very clear reference to Tool-Assisted Speedruns in the sites logo, and how this concept of Superplay has been manipulated over time.

Interesting article, but how does that correlate with the thread title?

Great improvement, I never would have conceived that much was possible.

What about the Last Story?
That requires beating the game in all story modes.

It doesn't make the game lag ;)
Another question I have is why do you backwalk after doing the blue warp trick, instead of side hopping with the camera angle facing the door?

Why did you change the camera angle in Link's house? I thought that causes the game to lag.

I found it entertaining, but I don't think it's publishable.

I personally do not like them, but I think we should do it by a case by base basis for each game.

I did one for Mystical Ninja, but I doubt I do it again. Due to the unexciting nature of it from an audiences perspective.

Just planning a route for a 100% run of MM would be a feat in itself. The ingame time and day add so many layers of complication and uncertainty.

As we've debated endlessly in the past their is no common consensus at to what 100% is. Although I'd much rather see it being done for MM than this game.

From my experience TASing 2D beforehand provides little preparation when moving to 3D games.

I enjoyed watching the trick to bypass the bridge in Kakariko gorge. One thing that does irritate me slightly is during long stretches where you need to run in a straight line. You seem to change course several times. I know it's hard to find the ideal path during long stretches or due to changing camera angles. However, that can be overcome by using facing memory addresses.

Another update. We finished Eldin Twilight and are heading to Lakebed (~43 minutes in now). AFAIK we're still planning on releasing the second WIP at the entrance of Lakebed Temple, so expect that sometime before the end of the year.
Looking forward to it :-)
