It's a pity that nowadays with a little ingenuity, computer trickery, or both, one can fake such feats extremely realistically, so it's really hard to tell if they really did throw the ball like 50 times until they got it in, and then used that shot, or if they used fakery. It would be nice to know for sure.
Even the most complex of throws could be done within a few hundred attempts. Not that I remotely think it's fake, but it would be easy to prove if it is. Thats if you're willing to download the video and examine it frame by frame on VDUB. There are other forensic methods used to determine the validicity of photos and videos but I'm not quite fully aware of them.

Either A: Aim for the minimal number of frames possible. So avoid high looping shots. Hit the ball into the rough and bunkers , and stick to low punch shots with a lot of backspin. You will also need to manipulate the wind on most holes. B: Get holes in one on the par 3s/short par 4's. Hit incompetent drives and follow up with a tremendous recovery shot for an eagle.

But it glitched the scoreboard! That's gotta count for something...
Aparently the scoreboard would have glitched again once it reached 75. Personally I think it would have been quicker to use an underflow glitch.

I think they mean interating and scrutinising to the point where they can't improve it any further. This doesn't mean to suggest that any single star is "frame perfect", but as close to perfection as they can get based on the current knowledge that they have. A sort of no stone unturned approach.

I'd prefer if there was some code which allowed the users to pick screenshots without the need to upload the pics themselves such as SCREENSHOT 25234,54221,65421

I find the pace of the movie to slow compared to Arkanoid, plus it doesn't complete the game 'No' vote.

Awesome WIP, I look forward to seeing the finished product. Question: Why is the pause emulation bug present in the WIP while the published run does not have it?
That comes down to what plugins are being used. When the final run is encoded it will use Direct64 as that does not have the weird pause bug that you see in the current video.

All stars are hex friendly if you can correctly manipulate the randomness.

Sorry for bumping, but does anyone know that you can do the flagpole glitch in 8-3 and not waste time?
I doubt it.

Just my two cents. Considering most of you are not competitive chess players, I doubt you'll share my sentiments.
I was competing nationally against the best chess players in my age group 8-9 years ago, although my abilites now are far from what they were. I think it's fair to assume given the nature of the site that most people are above average chess players. I could appreciate the run because not even the most brain dead of opponents would make such laughably bad opening moves.

It would be more entertaining to play on expert, and try to get a Fool's Mate.
I seriously doubt that a CPUs opening book would ever allow that to happen.

Too simplistic a game from TASing point of view. Voting no

I have (many) issues with the platform itself. Considering there were less than 20 games released . Can you convince me of 3-4 other games that are worth TASing?
So wait, TASing is available on this platform, a TAS is submitted, encoded, etc. But, because there aren't 'sufficient' TASes available for the platform, this shouldn't be accepted? I fail to see the logic there.
I should remind you that Wario World is by far the best game on Virtual Boy and it's distinctly average at best. What do you think that implies about other games for the system? In order to justify accepting a new emu on the site there should at least be several games for the system that get people excited.

Unlike Virtual Boy and Lynx, there is clearly a vast library of games worth doing. I enjoyed the movie even though it was hard to judge from a technical stand point. I just hope the emu is stable enough to run most games and avoiding desyncing issues, espeacially when viewers themselves try to play back WIPs.
