Standing up for human rights should never be political.
What the OP posted has nothing to do with human rights.

Can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this. It was well worth the wait.

I do have a movie file that gets the grey flame. You just need to RAM search it to find out all the factors behind it, then hopefully you can manipulate the conditions to get it. Possibly changing the Saturn's internal clock if need be.

Didn't expect an improvement would come so fast. Any luck trying to get a grey flame on the Hippogryph? As mentioned at the end of your submission. Four Beast is faster on Shaft, but the input time would likely be longer.

You can see in the input display. One thing I will say is I managed to do a wrong warp and get further up the corridor, but can't figure out how to replicate it.

New trick discovered that would save time in both any% and MAB. Link to video

Just checked, I was wrong in that assertion.

There's also Maria's energy ball attack that could save time if you can charge it for long enough.

I don't think axes are effected by 4 beast mode, as can be seen here Link to video Apart from Galam, I'm not sure where 4 beast would save time in a TAS.

Tested a few thing out in an all bosses run. I noticed the axe is really powerful for the first half of the game. Link to video

Will a perpetual motion machine ever be invented? The most prominent example I can think of is the drinking bird. However, that has a fatal flaw because the water evaporates over time. Even if you were to have it in a 0°C vacuum chamber. Pendulums don't work due to friction even in a vacuum. Anything to do with magnets won't work due to the magnets eventually wearing out. The only thing I'm reasonably sure of is that it would involve using gravity as that's the only constant force on earth.

Is space infinite, or is there some kind of limit to it?

I've been following your WIPS from the beginning. I knew some of the major improvements like Vilcabamba and Great Pyramid, but I'm surprised by how much you improved levels that didn't have any big new tricks.

The movements looked like you were using a d-pad. Given you mention the game supports a custom made scooter. You should be taking advantage of the analogue controller.

FCEUX is a depreciated emulator. We don't use it anymore on this site.

Posted this because I realised the wiki for the TASing history of this game needs to be updated. I've added the last two movies, but a description also needs to be included. http://tasvideos.org/SMB3TASHistory.html

Even though very people are effected by it. Viruses tend to spread exponentially i.e. one person catches it and then spreads it to two people and the cycle repeats. Start with a comparatively small number and keep doubling it everyday and by the end of the month you'll be into the millions. At least on the bright side we might see a few exciting TASes and speedruns being done over the coming weeks and months.

Probably [1286] NES Super Mario Bros. 3 "warps" by Lord_Tom & Mitjitsu in 10:26.42. At the time it felt like a no stone left unturned TAS. Not to mention me and Lord Tom were able to collaborate on it. Despite the time zone difference and both of us doing full time jobs.

I must admit I didn't think it was going to be possible to do on emulator, but it's good to see it is possible. There's probably no way to sync it, but I would like to see it being console verified.

They've been known about for a while. So I'm just putting them out there. A wall clipping trick that can be done with 2 players, by abusing the crawl glitch. You can continually build up speed. Allowing for some potentially crazy stuff. However, it's hard to exploit. Link to video Link to video Link to video

Just posting this for documentation sake. You can get a grey flame when casting the fireball spell. It's very rare, I'm guessing either 1/256 or 1/128, but if you can pull it off it does double damage. Link to video
