I'm trying to create some SRAM for Panzer Dragoon Saga in Yabause as Bizhawk doesn't emulate the Saturn's backup memory. Basically if you have a save file of Panzer Dragoon 2 it will give you ingame currency in Saga. For every hour you play you get 100 ingame currency. Obviously if you can put thousands of hours onto the save file you could end up with outrageous amounts of money from the get go. I've been able to locate memory addresses in the player data in Panzer Dragoon 2, and have been able to hack 32k hours into the game. However, exiting the game and starting it up again will cause the game to show what the time played should be. So there must be other timers in the game. However, after a couple of days of looking I've had no success. So I'm needing help and advice to do it.

Hopefully you can get the rom working. Good luck with the rest of the game.

Whats the reason for not using the fast forward VFX?

I enjoyed it. Any chance of seeing a score attack TAS in the future?

There is that god awful Air hack, which is impossible to beat in real time.

Cheats, including the ones that can be obtained via glitches are acceptable under certain circumstances, but not in this instance. Mainly because it reduces difficulty and overall enjoyment of the run.

There is a cheat code which I believe requires using the second controller. The movie you're suggesting would be more suited to a playaround, as it would be better to force the 2 players to fight each other. So they can get the alternative ending.

The funny thing is, even with the introduction of VAR. Referees has still gotten decisions wrong. Namely awarding two penalties for hand ball. One of them being notably in the final. It just shows that even with ideal information incidents can still come down to interpretation.

Are the baby ghoma's still around after you defeat Queen Ghoma? If that's the case, is it possible to use the baby ghomas to clip through the stone door?

Is it even possible to ISG in collapse tower room? One thing I've realised about the current GIM TAS is that it would be faster to manipulate a fairy during the Ghoma fight rather than going back to the Lost Woods to get the bugs for the blue warp trick.

Player wise the England team wasn't as strong as it was during the 02-04 period, but the players played much better as a team compared to the stars of the past who thought the team should revolve around them. Both Croatia and England have over achieved this World Cup as a result of how the draw for the knockout stages have played out. Despite the slow start France have had. They've clearly been a step above everyone else in this tournament. They were unlucky not to win the Euro's as a result of Portugal being even more fluky than Greece was in 04. They've dispatched superior opposition to Croatia in convincing fashion to get to the final. Short of a backs to the wall performance and dragging the game into a penalty shootout I don't see any realistic way Croatia will win the final.

I know there was some new stuff discovered since my previous TAS, but aside the execution was greatly superior to mine. I was really impressed by the strategy you used to dispatch the Poppin Fresh boss. Not to mention the second last boss. As a side note, that final boss has to be the greatest final boss in any game :-D If they were to ever do a remake of the game. I'm sure they'd have a laptop or an Ipad as the final boss.

I doubt that would be faster than the current GIM route.

In the game of golf what is the fastest speed a ball can travel over the hole with still ending up in the hole? Assume the ball has been putted, with no elevation applied and is travelling directly over the middle of the hole

How did you even manage to glitch the game this badly. That's pretty cool. So that solves the long boss problem from the first version of the TAS. I admit though that not a whole of the game is left (I miss Honoo no Ya and Mizu no Ryuu). I wonder if maybe a less-glitched version is in the works.
A run that doesn't use the Lair of Truth early trick would look something like this. It would be considered too arbitrary a category to allow. The only other category that could be done is an all "amulet run". However, that would require a lot of planning and testing beforehand.

I do think there is a reason why less penalties have scored over time. There's penalty simulation machines that goalkeepers can use to learn penalty takers body language. Goalkeepers come off their line to close down the angle which isn't allowed, but refs rarely enforce the rule. On top of that goalkeepers can research players to learn their penalty taking tendencies. Finally, Goalkeepers are more athletic than the were in the past and can move much faster.

Spain had plenty of chances to win it. The penalty they conceded was as needless as penalty Argentina conceded in the first half. That said Russia did shitfest their way through that that game. It was as if dragging the game into penalties was their plan from the outset.
