ive decided to check through the big game list i found ( well not all the games..just some ) and im gonna try and pick off the good ones ( or good for time attacks ) These are just my opinion though so if i hate a game it could still be good for a time attack for someone else 007- Everything or Nothing Astro Boy - Omega Factor Army Men Advance ill update it when i try out more games

How can you time attack Four Swords? Even with save/states, the game randomly generates levels. If you figure out the coding, it truly is random for some parts - you will never get a "same segment" twice...unless you have the luck of the Irish. Not to mention, what emus support the multi-player aspect? How would you do mutli-player time attack on GBA?
well for one thing i didnt know about that , so i guess thats one reason why i put it on my list... i WOULD still like to see it , but i guess it would be almost impossible to get it to work

seems so, thought the way you put it SNES one is like thrice as hard O_o so then you gotta keep in mind is it played at hardest "difficulty" =p well i suppose it should be done on NES then if that list is correct since SNES has a lot of disadvantages

lets see ...those i would like to see in that list are Advance Wars 1 & 2 ( seperating it from rest because its just that great ) LoZ: The Minish Cap Rockman. Zero and EXE series Grand Theft Auto Advance Banjo Kazooie Also not from that list : LoZ : Four Swords I'd also love to see how fast someone can beat the golden sun series but i guess thats pretty insane, since they are REALLY long Also the Metroid games and River City Ransom EX but they already have topics/being worked on

Im surprised no one made a topic for these zelda games yet I made one topic for both since they are pretty similar.. hey this is like THE zelda game without any current speedrun out yet so you might have to find everything yourself, or group discussion. A bit more of a challenge if you ask me. anyways, anyone thinking of working on this in the future or the present ? :D

Yeah.. I know this will be alot of work and optimizing, but im up for it. even though Manipulating the criticle hits may take some time.
Yeah i tried for a while with that but i didnt have much luck as the damage seemed the be the same evertime.. i think it depends when you enter the battle or who attacks when.. ie skip cecil's turn go the kain jump then attack with cecil will be different then attacking with cecil and making kain jump. Thats what i concluded but you may be able to find another way, i could of been just unlucky since i only tried it in the Mist Dragon battle

The players here arent gods.. it takes time for them to make speedruns too and if you cant be patient then you wont get anything.. and the attitude doesnt help either hell ive been waiting for a FF3 update for around 2-3 months now and you dont see me posting over 10 times in 2 days for it..

well it IS a test run, as in not being the real deal. Im not crazy enough to bother with that in a rest run Although i guess not changing battle/text speed is pretty stupid indeed.. but lets just forget that one

It would be cool if you start this.. not many interest in it yet i guess , maybe only the lurkers, but once RPG runs pick off usually a lot of people leave useful pointers and tricks, although i guess those are already in the thread i must warn you though even if theres alot less need for rerecords in 20 mins of RPG then platformers, its still a lot of work since its ~4 hours heh

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to do a run on this game/series. Its a pretty cool platformer, was my favorite has a kid ( well the 2nd one ) Its pretty well made but has some annoying parts for making videos such has if you fall from too high you die even if you land safely. I find it hard but then again i SUCK @ platform games.. i tried to play it a few days ago and couldnt even beat the 1st stage O_o anyways if anyone is willing to do a run on this game i would definitly love you, and you just know you want that love =]

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/19/FF2.smv This is what i have done up to now, didnt work on it since last time but heres the smv.. i realized while doing this it takes a lot of work and i dont have too much time to work on this so im not sure if ill finish this run but i will work on it once in a while.. just dont expect udates Anyways, the things i marked down are: -Make Kain do a normal attack on last hit against Mist Dragon instead of jumping -Optimize Text speed, some places are a bit slower than other -Move Rydia and Tellah to back row when i equip the dark sword in cave *Thanks DeHacked for hosting
