@Mrgrunz : It was more like a challenge ("can we do this one in 3 days?!") and we did it. I bet some other TASers couldn't. I could redo the any% TAS a bit more improved for sure. My goal would not be 16:0x, more like 16:2x/16:3x because I just don't have the time to optimize it for a few months.

@Nahoc : yeah 've seen it. I'm not a such a pro in sm64 sorry. It looks similar for me, because mario gets teleportet upwards. Sorry if I'm wrong

Im not complaining about mupen :) I really prefer it even if it's not the best emulator I could use.

Some people use firefox. Some use chrome. You all act like I'd have to use bizhawk. I'm way more used to mupen and I really don't want to switch over to bizhawk. Mhs adresses wouldn't be the problem, but I don't want to use bizhawk :) hope it's fine for you guys.[/userfile]

We spliced it because it was impossible to record in in one go. We had to do a few TAS files? Because it desynced very often. And yes, some savestates were wrong as you noticed, but none of these change anything in the gameplay. It's also a few seconds slower. we'll do our best in our next TAS. Hopefully we'll get it done using one .m64 file.

I don't have any criticism against the rules here. We just decided not to submit it here :) I mean it's not a crime . if we finally get the video to work, you can check it out

It's just sad how some people react. I don't care about hate. Is this really the whole community? Is that the reaction a "TAS-team" has waited for ? I don't think so. I'm not gonna reply on any hate statements anymore.

@N3rdsWithGame : I'll post a tas file here soon so you can check out what hapoened. Also it's different everytime..... Right after the 100% TAS is uploaded. It's still not on youtube because we have trouble with the video file. @Angerfist : go for it. I don't know why submitting the TAS here would change my attitude. @Patashu : A TAS is almost entertaining every time. @Stevmay09 : isn't it more interesting to look how the people react instead of telling them every single detail of the TAS? @z1mb0bw4y : I hope you'll enjoy the TAS @Tompa : I'd be glad if everyone would think like that. We worked on the any% TAS for 3 days. We didn't really care about how the video file looked in the end. But the 100% TAS will be fine.

It's not because it's not optimized. I don't think we have to explain you guys why we won't submit it here.. anyways, did anybody see my video and has an idea what happened there?

I already said we won't submit it on TASvideos :) But don't worry, you'll able to see it on youtube in a few days. We don't know how long it takes to upload a video which is so long. We're not gonna splice it to upload it in parts so it might take a day to upload the TAS. we don't know. Make sure to buy some popcorn and enjoy the TAS ! ;)

We don't have to use bizhawk or upload our m64 file.. these insults are totally unnecessary

There's no thread for that. my definition looks pretty much like rta :) no compass/map etc We are using mupen, because we don't even checked bizhawk out. Why would it cause frustation ?

Thank you very much :) we didn't really think much about how we start the TAS. We just ran mupen because we're used to it and started TASing :D of course there are a few things that could be improved. But as we said, we're more focussed on our 100% TAS which should be done in about 2 months. we might re-TAS that GIM route than.

we just uploaded the new TAS world record in ocarina of time. timing is 16:47,97 could be done at least 20 sec. faster but we are happy with the result and focusing on a different project. enjoy watching: http://youtu.be/ZKVN2_ECzy8
