Hey guys! Is there any specific subforum where I can suggest custom TAS categories? I had one in mind for Kirby's Adventure, which I call "Kirby Master". Here are the rules:
  • Timer starts with starting a game from a new file and ends with the final hit landed on Nightmare.
  • For anti-cheese purposes, glitches and the UFO Copy Ability are banned.
  • When entering a hub for the first time, cutscenes cannot be skipped.
  • Taking damage even a single time counts as an automatic forfeit.
  • Copy Abilities can only be used when they are required for level progression.
  • All Sub-Games and Arenas must be cleared. Failing to achieve a perfect score counts as an automatic forfeit.
  • All Big Switches must be pressed.
  • When Main Mode is cleared, the Extra Mode must be cleared immediately after, with the same ruleset listed above.

Equivalent of this here would be separate branches, which whoever makes a TAS for this game can name their branch.
Meaning I can make a TAS of Game A, publish it like that and it would be its own record, right?

Hey guys! For NES Donkey Kong, would it be possible to separate Games A and B? speedrun.com does this, so I wonder if tasvideos.org should do this, too.

Hey guys! I've started TASing the NES games in order of release date, the first being Donkey Kong, and right off the bat, I'm stumpted: on the TAS I saw on YouTube, there is this weird maneuver consisting of alternating left and right very quickly so that when the ladder, Jumpman can climb downwards and warp onto the top of the stage. How can I do that? Is there something I can take as an example?
