I'm planning a TAS of Drill Dozer, and I'm wondering if there're any known TASing tricks for it out there. If not, guess I'll have to investigate it myself.

Actually, I found the RR version after I already downloaded the regular 0.124 (or at least I think that's what it is again), and seeing as I was gonna be using it for casual use and not hacking/TASing/whatever that I may as well not download another emulator on this crappy internet. And I don't think it's the sites I'm getting them from (or at least one of them), because I downloaded Donkey Kong from the same site that I downloaded Magical Drop III and the Neo-Geo BIOS from.

Out of five six games I've tried, only one has worked so far. The games are: San Fransisco Rush 2049: Special Edition (tried with two different versions; U27 format and BIN format) - Sound reported unimplemented, doesn't work San Fransisco Rush 2049 - Same as above Sega Touring Car Championship - GFX reported "imperfect," doesn't work Magical Drop III (Neo Geo) - MAME says it works, but upon loading it says it doesn't. Donkey Kong - Works. The message it gives me is "The selected game is missing one or more required ROM or CHD images. Please select a different game." ...Any help?

Well, that worked. Don't know how a game can cause Snes9x to disable the sound engine, but... Also, I managed to pause it while the text was on-screen. "Sound CPU executing STOP at F420" Also also, upon investigation, it seems that it crashes ZSNES and puts it on HiRes mode on 1.43.

No. Not gettin' it. At least not now. Not for $250. I'm thinking perhaps in a few months once the price goes down.

Whenever I would have to make a decision, I would save a state, so everything would turn out perfectly for me.

How exactly does that make it impossible?
You can't use the same input file.
...But you could always just press two buttons at a time. Annoying, but possible.

I need to know if Dolphin (or any Wii emulator for that matter) will run well or at all on my craptop, so I can start some NSMBWii hacking. My specs: Processor: Intel Pentium P600 @ 1.87GHz 3GB RAM Graphics: "Intel(R) HD Graphics" (don't ask me, not even Steam knows what it is) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Also, Portal runs fine most of the time, and NSMBDS runs at ~60FPS (and occasionally I can get it up to 70).

While recording this video, Snes9x told me something about the sound engine stopping, which I assumed was a virtual SPC700 crash, and it was gone too quickly for me to read (not to mention that it was on top of other text). When I restarted Snes9x after uploading, I realized that there was no sound. I checked my volume, but it wasn't muted. I checked the volume mixer, and the program didn't even show up. That's when I realized that I broke the program. ...Any help? EDIT: Seems it also changed my sound menu.

I was in an arcade when I found a game called Tokyo Cop; basically a car chase game. I would do it, but with its god awful physics, I don't even know where to start. Good candidate for a TAS though.
