So is the reason that the author should have used (U) version?
turska's primary reason is that the game is just plain boring. Most of the run is just walking around and cutscenes, with only a small amount of the time spent battling, which doesn't really look interesting either. It's just that the Japanese text made the problem even worse.

Actually, the orb system in this game seems to deal with characters getting hit. "Enemies don't get any red orbs" would be something like "player doesn't get hit", which is a more legitimate goal. EDIT: For clarification, the game is a sort of fighting game. Instead of health bars, characters drop orbs when they get hit. After 90 seconds, a match ends, and the victor is determined by the amount of orbs they collected. So if the enemy gets zero orbs, it's effectively a "perfect" on the player's part. (The final boss is different: you get 8 red orbs, which you lose when you get hit; you have to collect them back yourself to get your orbs back. The boss uses a more traditional health bar.)

Good news! Hasten to see the completeness of the run. Would have finished you before the end of the year?
I hope so. Most major hurdles (DNA souls luck manipulation, Sigma 2 fortress boss, and most of the stages) should have been passed by now. The worst things I can think of are more moving platforms in stage 3, and possibly some complications with the Gareth and Sigma fights. Other than that, it should be mostly straightforward from now on.

Nothing at all. Wii\3DS VC is an inferior playing experience to modern emulators on PC.
Depends on preference. Personally, I prefer console games emulated on PC (with an X360 controller), but I prefer playing handheld games emulated on the 3DS. Games like Mega Man Zero or the GBA Castlevanias just feel kind of awkward to control on a PC. Of course, there's a slight difference between emulation and VC (mostly in pricing), but the point stands for the most part.

We're around the start of Sigma Stage 2. Unfortunately I haven't been able to touch it in a while because I've been very busy IRL.

For the record, stress tests for the server have been done before, but only with admin approval and supervision. (They also involved several people posting, instead of just one). Don't do this again without explicit permission from one of the administrators.

I haven't fully watched the run yet, but from what I've seen, it's not that bad. I've seen runs with less happening. It's also only about 10 minutes long. It'd have to be quite bad if it's so sleep-inducingly boring that spending 10 minutes of it is too much to accept. (But do remember the sacred TASVideos rule: past mistakes don't justify repeating those mistakes). That said, I'm currently leaning towards accepting this, though. Viewer response seems mostly favorable, and again, I've seen worse things published.

No, it's not a problem. (You can't delete that post anymore, anyway. Only moderators can.) This did probably set a new record for longest necropost on this site, though.

Wow, this is probably my favorite SDR playaround to date. And that's saying something, because SDR has made many amazing playarounds before. Yes vote for obvious reasons.

It happens all the time. (See: Most people who still use snes9x v1.43, and probably some other instances as well) There isn't really a rule to pick the most 'accurate' emulator, and some people prefer speed/less lag over accuracy.

It's pretty good, but I think the fights are a bit too repetitive. Most fights can be summed up with either knee+knee+knee or Falcon Punch (or both), and occasionally some other finisher like Raptor Boost or Falcon Dive. It feels like not all of Captain Falcon's moveset is used to full potential. Also, I noticed with some of the multi-battle fights (mostly the Yoshis and Kirbys) that many times you knock away some of the opponents (usually with the knee) but don't actually KO them right away. This looks...bad, to be very honest. In the end, I vote meh. Looks fairly neat, but I think there's more potential to be had out of this game/mode than is presented in this run.

Adventure could make for a good run (it contains more variation in stages) and it isn't that long - I'm pretty sure a TAS would clear it in around 11 or 12 minutes, which isn't really that long. Classic is kind of plain and repetitive.

It looks like there has never been a Legend of Zelda tricks page in the first place. At least, I can't find any trace of there having been one. Odd. EDIT: According to Baxter, there never has been a Legend of Zelda tricks page. However, you can still find technical information/tricks of Legend of Zelda on this submission page.
