Yes, 60 FPS is normal for a NTSC game.
Do you live in Europe or another area with PAL-timing (50 FPS)? It could be you're just used to that.
Alternatively, it depends on the game. Which game are you talking about?

If you're not going to use the spin-dash, don't use it at all (mostly avoiding it is a bad goal choice, since it is impossible to define)
I don't understand why this goal keeps appearing in the queue. Felipe, please consider discussing your runs in the forums or IRC before submitting...
Actually, I don't think he uses the spindash at all like his previous submission of this, where he also stated "no spindash (mainly)" for some reason.

The route is a little odd on that part: you're supposed to turn on the generators first, to unlock the doors and turn on an elevator. But all doors but one somehow aren't locked and the top floor can be reached without using the elevator, so I do them first, to save time from backtracking.

Also, you wasted time while pausing while using Rush Coil; Rush did the same time-wasting animation every pause, which could be skipped by switching to the pea-shooter during the pause.

I doubt that's possible, since usually enemies don't move until they appear on-screen. And if you were to let them move from the beginning of the level/game/whatever, their movements would probably not correlate with what happens in the video when they do appear onscreen (i.e. appear onscreen with a different/wrong position).

If I had to guess... I'd say the Metroid video took maybe 16 hours to put together. Rendering in 1080p took 2 hours and final filesize was about half a gigabyte. Definitely a labor of love and totally worth it in the end :)

This run begins from a savestate, which is usually not accepted at TASVideos.
Does this hack have anything over the published Rockman 2 hack, Rockman no Constancy? I don't think TASVideos wants multiple hacks of the same game published.
