Haven't watched it, but is there any major difference between this and the published SNES run?

Aside from missing the Noise Crush instant-kill trick on Spring Man, this looks spot-on. Yes vote.

It's been tested and crouching, which eliminates a ground dash start up length, but costs a frame, and then ground dashing is faster than dashjumping. EDIT: For clarification, dashjumping goes at a constant 4 pixels per frame while a ground dash starts at 7 pixels per frame and gradually goes down to 4.

If you want to follow the game that accurately... ...then just follow the game perfectly accurately. Mario arrives at the observatory, gets 60 stars throughout the various levels, fighting Bowser and Bowser Jr. in their respective areas a couple of times and that's it.

I vote yes! This was great. :) I have one question: since it says that Atma and Rolanmen1 did parts of the run, why is only Mothrayas listed as author?
They haven't done much (comparatively), and Rolanmen1 specifically told me that he and Atma didn't want to be listed as authors.

You can remove the Japanese text by clicking the button in the bottom right of the interface. Also, it's fairly redundant to rip off from one movie hosting site and uploading it at another one.

The number of Reploids saved is shown after the credits, there'll be a full list of them if you press R1 on the stage select screen and you'll have all parts. That's it. So yeah, it's mostly cosmetics.

Some give Parts, which is why I go out of the way to collect two of them in Rainy Turtloid's stage with X. They also heal you and give you an extra life.

There is already (here), since unlike X5 and X6 there's no way to skip the initial 8 bosses.

I recall having read about that before, on TVTropes. A logical (or not so logical) explanation would be that the world is donut-shaped.

Zipping in Bubble Man's stage in a 'low glitch run' sounds contradictory. I'd just say 'no zips, period' as well as no pause glitch in MM1. Also, no scrolling in directions other than that are intended to be in the game. (i.e. delay down scrolling, delay up scrolling)

A (separate) Luigi run should be possible by starting from SRAM that has Luigi unlocked. If we're at the point when Dolphin's advanced enough to do that, of course.
