I think there's an option on the movie selection screen to hide the border. You won't get the display problem that way.

I'm sorry for only watching this now, but is there any way for you to boost your speed using the parasol floating ability? It sways back and forth, but if you land before it goes backwards I think it should give you a small distance boost.

You can't run in DDP though. That would probably ruin a lot of the shortcuts that you might think of.

Well, for curiosity's sake, the old WL3 thread is here. The old run wasn't rejected so much as cancelled, because Josh wasn't happy with the quality. I'd like to see someone take another shot at this.

Are you going to rearrange your item pouch at all? Having to move down one spot every time that TM is in the way would probably get frustrating.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles in... 2 hours 34 minutes 43 seconds... To be fair, I get all the emeralds for Hyper Sonic. I die way too many times against the Death Egg final boss though.

You might just as well show the whole of Maxim's run in HoD, since it only takes something like 30 seconds. Some scenes from the Super Metroid 100% would be good, namely the parts with the speed boosted spring ball. Parts from Saturn's RBO videos would be good too. You'll need SOME zipping stuff from a Megaman, though I think the latest stuff in the Rockman & Forte run with the lightning would work well. I would be really amused if Rhythm Tengoku music is used as the backdrop.

Does it have to be $.png? Or can it be gif or something? I suppose it doesn't matter too much since I could just rename the extensions and they would still display properly.
