I don't think anyone has a problem with the gameplay being too fast, it's the fact that the gameplay is so fast that literally most the run is cutscene.
Knuckles' Chaotix has lots of cutscenes as well. Less than World of Goo but they are definitely much more boring. EDIT: Yay, I'm not a lurker anymore. Yes vote.

Incredibly good run. It'd be a huge 'yes' vote from me if I could vote. That's the case when you need to play the game first. For example, FFVII run (as well as any jRPG run) seems boring and completely incomprehensible to me. But I don't think it shouldn't have been published. I wouldn't even vote because I completely don't get it. @Warp: it was in fact insanely fast but I did get most of the tricks. Plus, the main entertainment for me comes from the game being inhumanly destroyed.

I voted yes.
  • The game is played blisteringly fast
  • The puzzles are solved in surprising ways totally different from those intended
  • Many of the solutions are possible only due to the high speed used here
  • The author spends downtime well, providing entertainment with the cursor
  • The game is fun to play, and this TAS is fun to watch
Isn't this exactly what we look for in a TAS? I am a bit dismayed at all the no votes here. Most are from people who have not played the game, and I understand if the action here is too quick for them to see all the glitching, breakage and smart solutions going on here. But the primary audience of a TAS is people who have played the game, and not publishing this TAS will be a disservice to them, as they will be stuck wondering what an optimized completion of this game looks like. And remember, the question is "Should this movie be published?", not "Should this movie be starred?".
This. 100% agree.

Keep up the good work Felipe. Very entertaining. BTW there're "pacifist" runs (no kills unless it's unavoidable) and "maximum kills" runs (get as many kills as possible). So have you considered "maximum rings" goal? You can go for maximum rings including 10 rings item boxes along with perfect bonuses where it's possible. On the other hand, Casino Night Zone requirements might be vague due to slot machines.

I'm far from being TASer-elitist but I enjoyed this run much more that the current published one. However, I agree with some forum members that "low-glitch" version without glitches in GHZ2, LZ1, SBZ2 and SBZ3 would be even better. I really hope it'll be published. Now I want glitchless S3&K as well. That would be so awesome.
