Black Mesa Source is released?!? I thought it would beat Duke Nukem Forever's record... By the way, this game is MOD for PC, so isn't this topic supposed to be in Windows games forum?

I love TAS when it has detailed comment and on-screen explanation, though I couldn't figure out what's going on this time due to my illiteracy in Japanese... Anyway, you did great work on this! It surely deserves publication.

Plok, done almost 4 minutes faster.
I check it again and I figured out that previous run's record was in 31:15.55, and you did it in 29:00.38. Isn't that approximately 2 minutes improvement? (just trying to make sure)
Read the author comments about completing the credits (old movie did not).
Thank you! I had some misunderstanding.

So you were the manager of that channel: MarioSunshineTAS. I very appreciate that because I'm interested in TAS of Super Mario Sunshine. Thanks for your dedication to TAS(and recovery of Renebalow's lost TAS movies)!

-First thing you have to know about 3D optimizing is that you must hold the perfect angle in your TAS Input for EVERY move, making you go in the most straight line to the next curve or obstacle
Actually that's not always the case. Quake is a very good example of this. Rapidly zig-zagging (ie. while moving towards your goal, alternatively press left and right) is faster than running straight. (AFAIK this is because of a small quirk in the game engine that makes you move slightly faster for a fraction of a second when you change direction, before your movement speed stabilizes to its intended maximum.) (Moreover, there's a way to move even faster by combining zig-zagging and bunny-hopping: Due to another quirk, if you jump immediately after landing from your previous jump, you don't lose any speed. This, in conjunction with zig-zagging, allows you to maintain speeds that are not possible by just running.)
I heard that bunny-hopping only happens in id Tech engine(or, Quake engine). Some FPS games like Half-life also has bunny-hopping but not as far distance as id Tech engine games.

Donkey Kong Country's OST must be one of the greatest music in video game history. I love every music in DKC, but my favorite music from each series is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v18pEFQb3EM DKC 1 - Fear Factory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUGU_Zlf9tU DKC 2 - Disco Train http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XAWhFZ5mzI DKC 3 - Rockface Rumble (I excluded Stickerbrush Symphony, we all know that's the best. Anyway, here's a video someone who covers this song)

I'm surprised this submission still hasn't a single comment. Awesome to improve over 2 minutes! (even though you watched the whole credit screen) Yes vote from me. By the way, am I the only one who think the game is quite similar to Rayman?

I met a problem with going straight in Billy Hatcher, it's a bit hard to explain so I made a video to show it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OslohqpOjVA What should I do ?
How about changing the camera angle instead of player's direction? I think SM64 DS run used that trick.

I'm voting meh. I'm not against this being published as is, but some things didn't look that well optimized. I think you should try to improve it either way.
I agree with him, too. I'm quite impressed that the game can be beaten less than an hour, but I'm not sure this is well-optimized. In many part I can see you didn't go exactly straight; the player's route seemed a little bit zigzag. If this wasn't intended movement, it is obvious there are still room for more improvement. I know it's extremely difficult to plan route in FPS games, and you actually did very well, but I vote meh for this reason.

So what's the point of going off the screen? Does it make you break through the wall?

The game looks familiar to 'Another World' or 'Prince of Persia', even though this is even more terrible. Lucky that TAS made it somewhat entertaining.

Commit suicide, get game over screen, telepors to nowhere, fight with something invisible, and win the game instantly. Make sense to me. I give you Yes vote.

Nice submission again, STBM! Since I don't have time to watch your run now, I'll rate it later. By the way, you just labelled Gamecube as 'GC' on the title, but I think displaying full name of Gamecube will be better(like "STBM's Gamecube Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg in 1:15:52.55 "). The abbreviation 'GC' is actually similar to GBC(Game Boy Color), so it may be misunderstood by visitors. At least I did.
