Nothing really to say other than good luck and I'm looking foward to seeing this fairly hard game stomped.

Gah, forgot about that. Well I guess it's either find some way to get the heart upgrade with the boomerang (not likely) or follow your test run route.

Okay I found his test run and I watched it. It's probably faster to do Sting after Kuwanger, but it all depends if the time to get the heart container in his level is quicker than fighting Storm Eagle without the proper weapon. Here's what I've been fooling with. It's not optimized but you should get the idea. I don't think it's possible to just use the boomerang to get the heart. I think Fractal tried that anyway.

If I do Kuwanger before Eagle I'll have to go back to his level again and get the heart container. With the SDA route I can use a charged up shot gun ice to grab the heart container in one pass.

I was thinking about doing MMX 100% if anyone else isn't going to. Mainly for more practice in boss manipulation. My question is should I use the SDA 100% route? That is.. Chill Penguin - > Storm Eagle - > Flame Mammoth - > Spark Mandrill - > Armored Armadillo - > Launch Octopus - > Chill Penguin again - > Boomer Kuwanger - > Sting Cameleon - > Spark Mandrill again - > Armored Armadillo again. I can't see any other route working. Feel free to point out of I'm wrong though, or any other helpful info.

This even furthers my decision to move out of this police state where the rich run everything. Democracy? More like plutocracy.

Or Paper Boy on the N64 which isn't that good, but probably more fun to watch with it being 3D and tricks you can do. I tried it and it emulates perfectly as far as I can tell.

Voted Yes. Entertaining run, but I agree with Highness/JXQ. It's a good start.

Improved my time by 6 seconds. Right now I'm seeing how low I can get it. I'll probably try like sword only souless and other things like that later.

Anything goes as far as I'm concerned. Abuse Red Minotaur and the Chaos Ring all you want.

Obviously no rerecords or slowdown. I did one earlier and got a 1:46:78 This run was pretty good as far as mistakes go. I only had a few that didn't cost too much time.

Just watched this, very nice :) Just wondering, at around 19:42 where you jump over the devil, couldn't you manipulate him do do that move where he teleports to the other side of you so you don't have to jump?
I could, but IIRC there is a pretty large delay to when he does it and I would run smack into him before he does it.

Yes, I have V8. I don't know why you can't watch it. Maybe someone more familar with the emulator can help.

Level 2 done. I discovered that if you slide off an edge or into a wind gust and you kick or punch right after the slide, you'll get a nice forward momentum boost. The boss in this level is even worse than Scorpion to do juggling on. I'm aware that the third time I open the inventory it looks pretty slow. Not sure why it took so long to move down to the key. It's a test run though so I'm not gonna sweat it.

I liked it and would probably vote yes now. I noticed the 4 players seem more like a team now rather than 4 players clumped together like 1 player. Each player seems to do their specific role with eliminating lag and the like. It's a pity falling rocks and things lag it so bad and you can't do anything about it...oh well. Keep up the good work! Edit: I also like the 4 gymnists ownage. :)

I've been fooling around TASing this game today. This game is one of the few 2D n64 games. I made a small test run on level one today. I play on Very Hard mode and I used the (U) [!] rom. You can ignore every enemy until the two before Scorpion. I fought almost all of them and did combos that gave big EXP so I could have Ice Blast before Scorpion. On VH mode he blocks combos like crazy so freezing saves lots of time. Comments welcome.

Well I don't know if it's possible to get him to do it twice. I couldn't get it to work no matter what. Though it's possible I could of overlooked something.
