I thought his site was down or he doesn't update it anymore.

I don't want to see MK1 that's for sure. After this is published (which is likely) and if UMK3 is finished and accepted, we shouldn't take anymore movies imo.

I think the main issue why we wouldn't take 1-2 frame improvements on 10+ minute movies is that it's a waste of time for the encoders. Also, imagine if all you had to do to improve a movie was do it at least 1 frame faster. You see some people doing the bare minimum just to get there name on the site. Sad really. I usually look forward to great improvements than new games TASed. You get to see the progression and real creativity. I find it very interesting and a good example of this is Mega Man X or Super Metroid. The first movies sucked, but each one after that improved greatly on play and strategy.

Game set match Zurreco. This should be rejected then. Any further discussion is a waste of bandwidth.

This should just be accepted or rejected. (It probably will be rejected I think.) There's more than enough feedback for a judge to make a decision.

Being obsoleted by someone is just the way TASing goes. People who don't like that fact have left over it. Perhaps they shouldn't have been here in the first place if they were to get so upset over an obsoletion. Play for entertainment, not ego.
Agreed, if someone was to obsolete all my TASes on here I wouldn't bitch or moan. I actually would encourage people to because I just want to see my favorite games destroyed. Having said that I hope somebody improves my Actraiser run because it needs it badly! Get to it!

Though I'd like to see a Mega Man run, I'd like to see Forte redone more. Looking forward to seeing anything though.

Just so people know, me and BoltR are at the power grip. Don't expect public WIPS. :P I feel they ruin it from a watchers perspective at the end.

This TAS proves why Pirates win. Good job. BTW, have you thought about trying to obsolete the other two Famtasia runs?

Well, someone could do a Quan Chi run and you'd get to see more Fatalities. The thing is you'd be stuck fighting with his same moves and combos the whole time. Also we don't need 5,000 MK movies either.

This game is pretty bad normally, but that was pretty neat like AnotherGamer said. Gets a Yes from me. Edit: I liked that thing in the Goro fight.

That was pretty entertaining, it could of even been published if you submitted it. If you can top that mmbossman, I have no question that it will be published here.

First off, would anyone be interested in this game? The SDA run is an few seconds shy of being an hour and three minutes, and after watching the first two segments I feel pretty confident I could shave it to at least under an hour at the very least (I was thinking of 50-55 minutes as a target time), so it wouldn't be a marathon to watch the whole movie in one sitting.
I'd be interested in this for sure. The more n64 TASes the better, and also the game seems suited for it.
Any knowledge of which Mupen plugins might work the best would really be helpful, I've played around with both the Jabo 1.6 and glN64 0.4.1, but don't really know which one would be better. Also, since I'll probably be doing most of this run at 30-50% speed (with random frame advances), I don't think I'll need to use the TAS input plugin, and was thinking of sticking to N-Rages Direct input 1.6 since I'm most familiar with it, but I'd welcome any recommendations.
Not sure which plugins the best, but you should pick the one the looks the best graphically and runs well. Also, you should use Frame Advance all the time unless you don't want a more optimized run, and make it harder on yourself at the same time. Frame Advance is actually way easier to use despite what you may think. It just takes a little bit to get used to. Once you're used to it you'll never go back.

"Hey guys I'm working on this run now!" "Did I tell you guys I'm working on this run!" "Okay, I stopped working on that run. I'll work on this one now" "Did I tell you guys I'm doing this now?" etc etc etc Do we really need those? At least I find BoMF a lively character.
