I hope I wasn't coming across as pushy when I asked about your encode a few days ago... I wasn't trying to, I was just curious since there hadn't been an update.
Wtf? Why am I not getting e-mail updates from this thread? I came in to see if Mister Epic maybe had edited an older post with his encode to find 7 new posts...
Voted no. Played well but even being such a short TAS it couldn't keep my attention at all. Flying over levels might be faster but it's hardly entertaining in any way.
The reason the SNES version of Lost Levels was used is because you have to beat the game multiple times to have access to both worlds 9 and worlds A through D on the NES/Famicom versions. On the SNES version you can get it all in one playthrough. (Or something along those lines.)
Entertaining run. It looks like it's mostly easier than NES Ninja Gaiden. The last boss battle reminds me a lot of Galbalan, the last boss on Ys III fo SNES. (Yes vote)
I think the run should stay as-is but I can definitely see Nach's point about it too. I think the run would stay more entertaining the way it is as it's not too long already.
It's been claimed for judging. No decision can be rendered until 72 hours are up, but now the other judges know they don't need to worry about this particular movie except as viewers.

This is already being judged despite there being only 4 votes? I'd watch it and vote but I don't feel like figuring out how to run movie playbacks in VBA.
I found the run to be well played but the game doesn't seem to have much entertainment potential. Although the level immediately after that green harpy looking boss reminded me a lot of Ninja Gaiden for some reason... (Voting yes.)
