Not allowing you to do everything that needs doing in one pass is a silly and infuriating design choice. You need to check in, fix all of one type of thing, and then check in again to start fixing the next type of thing? That's crazy, and not in the good way. Especially when you end up covering the exact same territory running back and forth just to play Mother May I with the terminal. At least no fall damage means that gravity is almost always your friend when you're in a hurry.

I suppose that's as close of an adaptation as they could manage for an auto-scrolling arcade game.

"Paternal Horn", the music for Green Hill Zo-- I mean, Spring Valley, is unironically my favorite piece of game music. A quick summary of my reaction as a longtime NiGHTS player: (Gillwing boss music starts up) "Ah, here we go--" (five seconds later, end-of-level music starts up) ".....wut." There's a Yes vote waiting in the sky. Heck, I'll put it on right now so I don't forget later.

Obviously Epic finally realized they were losing the Having An Overworld Wars to Commander Keen.

I have to vote yes just on the strength of the playaround in the minecart level. Not to mention the sight of Sho conducting the BGM in the elevator level immediately afterward. (Perhaps the actual reason Leopold Stokowski shunned the use of batons was that he'd've rather had a sword?)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the collectible choices. So the main collectible is ... pocketwatches? Where are -- oh, okay, so there are picnic baskets. But they're platforms? Which only register as "collected" when you jump on them? Special note to the game developers: If you don't know who Yogi Bear is, just say so. There's no shame in it, really.

Are you sure it wasn't Boxxle II: Warehouse Boogaloo?

Is it just me or is there a lot of Sonic design philosophy in this game? "Run through the level on high or low paths as fast as your feet can take you to reach the end-of-level sign."

That has to be some of the most generous isometric platform detection I've ever seen.

...What does 100% even mean for a RunSkate Right For Justice game? It can't mean all items collected, this movie basically ignores them starting in the third level.

SOMEBODY GET THIS FREAKIN' DUCK AWAY FROM ME! Also waiting on the long-overdue Mode 3 TAS, though I'd settle for Mode 2. Plus a separate Magic Dot run. But better is better, and it's just over half a minute, so yes.

Featuring beloved Mario enemies like Freaky Bat-Gremlin-Thing, Blue Jumpsuit Helicopter Pig, and, of course, Less-Than-Awesome Possum. With special guests Construction Ostrich and Tank Rhino from the Megaman X series! Maybe this will teach Haunter never to take a drunken bet after eating the "special Foongus" from Brock's secret stash. At least they had the decency to acknowledge where they ripped the game mechanics from by naming the first two enemies in the cast list Chip and Dale.

Jaffar's attempt to save money on heavy exit doors by painting the exit stairways in a door pattern has finally come back to bite him in the tuchus.

Voted No for not being Tarzan. (j/k, voted Yes for finally getting to see the ending screen. I was never able to get there back when this was still in arcades.)

I will always wonder how it is that Clockwork Knight got a sequel, while this game couldn't even get its name on the spine of its own box.

Apparently they invented a completely new Type that's weak to Normal, because Quick Attack was super-effective against that Board the Platforms stage.
