Having watched the previous entry I Yes voted this instantly even without watching. Should be a total pleasure to see how it looks : ) As a burning side question - is it possible to drink the +1 HP potion on Level 5? ; )

Obvious Yes vote, happy to see it done here :) First game I've played on PC (just after seeing a spinning coca-cola can animation demo : D) and naturally, a lot of fondness to it. Love some parts of the run, especially Jaffar "fight" ; ) and the guard on level 10 falling just 2 stories.. to his death :P :D Having said that, I'd really like to see the limits pushed on this game, that is the usual way TASes are done here :) So all glitches/bugs/exploits possible. That would definitely be lovely :) And also agree with c-square, the safest option would be to proceed with the run in simply any%, because categorizing what is glitch and what is not is ALWAYS problematic. Great job man, please keep it up - and consider a total any% TAS of well... BOTH :D PoP 1 _AND_ PoP 2 : )

Yes vote. Really nice pick and a really nice optimization. The run was definitely very well explained, kudos for that. Overall, just one thin - the graphics aren't "somewhat worse", they are f*ing horrible when directly compared to beautiful 256 colour VGA on PC, but I guess they're ok.. for a NES game. The differences were also definitely interesting, so it was a good watch.

Obvious Yes vote (voted earlier, just late to the party). @davidtki: oooh, do you plan a QFG1VGA TAS? Or a different strategy in QFG1VGA any%? I didn't touch any of my runs for quite some time, but both are definitely beatable, however if there are any new strats concerning them, please do let know. Could help with the TAS (at least I hope I could), if you're planning on it gimme a mention on Discord, thx! @mrprmiller: maybe that's not the right place, but congratulations on such a good work in any% QFG1EGA! I presume that 1:05 will come! : ) Good luck there!

As Dimon said the demo header information is read incorrectly. As Samsara told me on Discord, it counts the difficulties as: 0 - ITYTD 1 - HNTR 2 - HMP 3 - UV 4 - NM Instead of 1-5. Dunno how "1 player" could be concerning though, haha.
At least that makes sense! I wonder how the system understood that skill "29" up there ( http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/62362112029546753 ) ; )

The site reads a Doom demo header incorrectly. For instance, here is how it reads a Boom-compatible demo.
Jeez, that's totally strange. Thanks for explaining man!

What is this message about: "ALERTS POSSIBLY COMPROMISING MOVIE INTEGRITY: Skill 3 1 players"? (top of the submission page) This is Skill 4... : P

Somehow missed this comment! I will edit this information into the original description.
Thank you so much for it, man, the comparison to Andrey's run makes it even better : ) Kudos!

Now that I've written all this, it strikes me that I'm doing so on a part of the internet that is well accustomed to the complexities and intricacies of TASing, I'm still getting used to that. Still, perhaps my rambling will be interesting to someone!
Absolutely cool info there, man, actually enjoyed that :D Makes me appreciate the run more : ) Just a quick question - since the level statuses are skipped for the time sake... Could be please provide the level finishing times (optionally - if you want to do it - the whole info, as in kills/items/secrets % (perhaps even number/number format eg. 1/10) along with time/par/total) in the description or here? (the way that DooM normally shows it) If so - thank you even more! That would be pretty sweet.

Absolute stunner : O This one could be a run for decades - who knows. Either way, absolutely marvelous, thank you so much for doing it! 14 years from the previous WR... ha. And so much time cut (almost 10% of Andrey Budko's TAS!). Kudos! Also, thank you Dimon for this encode, watched both and yours is definitely easier on the eyes (also, you have a great channel there!). Obviously, there can be only one option - HUGE YES vote : )

Absolutely splendid! A pleasure to watch. An obvious yes vote. Speaking of which... did anybody thought of making a TAS of Vendetta? (also known as Crime Fighters 2)? While it's a predecessor, IMO in many regards it's better (for example speaking of the overall fun level ; simply love that game). The TAS would be probably something simply outrageously great (even if I fear most enemies would be skipped by hitting them when they stand on the far side of the screen, throwing them out of it and essentially 'killing' them, tho kill counter doesn't change its value in this case ; this method doesn't work only in the case of bosses (especially the quite deadly all-bosses fight at the very end), as far as I can tell).

Digging into it! : ) Value of my face during watching = ":O". Oh man. This is so good! :) Taking into account how it all started, you've come a long way with this run and this game! :) Congratulations, an obvious, clear Yes vote! There are so many good moments entertainment-wise and optimization-wise that I would have to write a really long comment about it and I don't want to bore anyone, but suffice to say - kids, don't play around with knives. And oh, dynamite! ; ) Of course, there are some moments of taking damage (but mostly they don't *seem* to affect the run too much), or a movement eg away from the elevator at the end of stage 2, and probably more moments where it could be done smoother, but overall the lag is reduced really nicely in many places... sometimes you even forget there is any in the game ; ) Once again, congrats on the end effect! And if you have enough determination, please consider working on this game further :) As this is awesome what you did there :)

Nice run :) Thanks for doing that, I was never aware of the second possible route you could take! And it's a nice, albeit very small game that I used to play when I was younger, so defly a yes vote, no matter what category it's under :D

Wow : ) Maan, that's so much better! : ) A definitive yes vote. Gotta love the new improvements, especially the "here, catch!" moment for two black Bolos and their companion, both with knife and the dynamite ; ) @ lvl 4 : D Anyhow, there are some moments of taking in damage where I don't feel it's necessary, and perhaps some other parts could be further optimized, but I think it's safe to say this is great :)

A 2/3 yes vote, man. I also love this game and it really made me smile that you managed to complete this - thank you! : ) It seems combat optims are really possible, please try to work on it further (that's why 2/3 yes vote ; ), but it's looking nice nevertheless : ) Really like some moments, namely 1:11 with the knife kick ; 1:50 where the guy says to himself "I'll just disarm this dynamite and-" ; ) ; 3:45 of "punching the guy who decided to play Batman" ; after that, usage of the first hole (second is ok too) ; 4:52 and the "boulder play" ; and of course, 7:58 where Bolo could finally admit he doesn't like the boss and he wants to help :D (and naturally, the consquences of the boss dying). It's funny to notice how the green Bolo part isn't slowed down compared to most of the game - perhaps a different version would be sensible to use? And using easy OR hard difficult would probably be a good idea. I'd vote for easy, too (less grinding). Just more optimized, please. Also, WTF happens 3 frames (YT encode) after the last of the boss' sidekick goes through the door and vanishes? Two characters appear at lower right corner, one being Jimmy, and the second? Cloned Billy? As for playing on two players, there's a small problem at the very end, because after defeating the final boss, Jimmy (2UP) would fight with 1UP, ie Billy (either being a secret boss of the organisation or fighting for the girl, don't remember). And the slowdown would be more present throughout the game, too. For a laugh: look at Marian's arms at 8:43 (fun fact: Marian is a male name in Polish). It seems she likes weightlifting/gym as much as the brothers do! ; )

AWEsome! Man, that was astounding.. especially the two corner-boosted walks through the doorways protected ("blocked") by barriers. Also, ignoring bouncing barriers in general (like in the rooms with 2 of 'em bouncing @ lvls 81 & 85 : ), OoBs, practically ignoring cannons (what you did on lvl 85 and the ending of 88 was funny to say the least : ). Ignoring the last C/Gen was very funny :D But also the grenade-2-landmine @ lvl 83 :) and of course, the item manipulation :O were superb :) Overall, a huge yes vote, especially considering how specific the controls were in this game! :)

Oh... OK. Thank you for the information! I looked through the FAQ but didn't find anything significant about the requirements. I actually talked with mr. C-Square earlier and hopefully I'll progress from normal speedrunning to TASing (at least when it comes to one game, but that's a start, I kinda hope to gain knowledge to dissect some of other ones : ), his JPC-RR modification is, to say it delicately, very promising. Tho I'm kinda scared of the technical side of TASes, too. As for Pinball games, I'd love to see Pinball Fantasies, but that's just a wild thought : )

Hello everybody! I'm a long time watcher and an admirer of TASes and this site, and also a part-time runner as I plan to approach this topic myself. I'd like to vote for this movie, but alas don't see the possibility, even if my vote rights are "on". Am I missing something? Thank you in advance!: )
