What about a Super Hard max score run on each level? (If I'm correct in remembering there are only finite resources in each level)

You can start from a savestate if you also provide a movie proving that that savestate is reachable. If beating hard unlocks super hard, this very movie could be used!

Keep in mind that TAS timing is from power on, SDA timing is from the first frame you gain control over the character.

Pretty easy. after stage 1: 3/8 of having item, 5/8 of not. total change = 37.5% after stage 2, without item: 3/7 chance of having item, 4/7 of not. total chance = 3/8 + (5/8)*(3/7) = 64.29%

When you finish an episode you're not automatically moved to the next, and nothing is waiting for you after you beat them all. They are essentially self-contained.

It also relies on people self-reporting accurately, but very often people over or underestimate things, or pretend to be something they're not. A better test would involve interaction to see how well they cope in an actual situation related to their job, and that can't be standardized.
