2000:M1 200 teleport fail into a hole trap, and fall down to the
        Vibrating Square level, autopicking up the lit Candelabrum
        (which can't have been in inventory at this point or it would
        have been extinguished when we fell ino the water). Because
        this is the last action of the turn, this hypercharges the
        monsters on the destination level.
What water is being referred to here?
2002:58 Zero-time artiblast depolymorph. (We could just polymorph at
        turn boundary, but the previous turn is so low-probability
        that manipulating a polymorph at 2002:^ would be out of the
        range of plausible luck.)
Does this require appearing on an artifact and autopickuping it, or are there actions that blast you with an artifact from your inventory and take no time?

You're playing the Windows version, right? So Windows is fine. By the way, for speedrunning the game, I think some parts of the game you want to fail or do slowly on purpose to trigger different dialogue. So that's something you could think about incorporating. There are human-done speedruns you can watch to learn the route.

Speak for yourself. EDIT: The reason why they're entertaining is because they allow glitch hunters and reverse engineers to push SM64 to previously unknown limits.

That's a pretty weird view to have. TASes on TASVideos come with an expectation of high technical quality, and the expectation rises the more well known the game is. However, a TAS does not have to be extremely high quality to still be entertaining.

The level of information it can process is too coarse to be able to create anything remotely like a TAS. For example: -It currently can't tell different types of ground or different types of enemies apart. -I think it can only change movement once every X frames, to save on processing power.

The screen wrap-arounds you use in Elecman to get the Magnet Beam seem like an obvious one to break down, no? Then immediately after you can break down Magnet Beam related glitches, so it seems like it would flow well.

If you only have a projected frame savings of 2 frames, it might be better to wait for Bizhawk to have PSX support - if it's less desync prone, you'll save a LOT of time.

Lately, every day I've come to the tasvideos forum, I've been logged out. Logging is no problem. But the problem is that being logged out and logged in again clears the 'new posts since your last visit' list that I use to keep up with what's going on in the forum. Without this information, I have to open EVERY board in a new tab and scan for new posts. Is there a way to see the most recent posts even if you have been logged out in the mean time? Thx
