Lol, this is a good counter-argument to 'Why do we need accurate emulators, zsnes is actually BETTER than the real thing because it eliminates lag' people.

Or you could get creative with editing and go all Zeno's paradox on it. (Have a timer onscreen and accelerate the video until you get so fast there's only one blurred frame, calling it "infinite speed" and having the infinity symbol on the clock.)

Are there any gameplay differences or is it just faster FPS/less cutscenes/less loading/etc?

Four Swords is 2-4 players. You can't even play it without a link cable. Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is 1-4 players.

But wouldn't it be acceptable for tasvideos since there is not and never will be a 'non-altered alternative'? I'd like to see an official precedent set on it, either way, so people know whether to spend their time on this or not.

IMO the screenshot should be one of the glitchy messes, because that's all you're seeing of the game!

This can't be a very useful quiz if a TASer as skilled as Forgonemoose can flunk it with such a low score, IMO

The Brain Age TAS can be beaten too.
The Brain Age TAS doesn't aim for speed, but this one does.

As an example I used Super Mario All-Stars where SMB3 reads one of the uninitialized values and if that is 0x80 (so you basically have a 1/256 chance on a real SNES) allows you to change the powerup status when pressing select:
Wow, why does that work? And if it's really a 1/256 chance, couldn't someone dedicated enough on console get this to happen?

but I'm able to watch megaman videos from my desktop computer, so I think italy has not megaman restrictions?
I think watching youtube from a mobile device has more what-country-do-you-live-in restrictions than watching it from a PC. I don't remember the details.

Define 'not watchable'. When you navigate to them what happens? Additionally, where in the world do you live?

What frame is that "New Richter skip" at? Can't pick a good screenshot.
The screenshot should have Alucard being flung leftwards with Richter in the frame.

Link to video I think this kind of Atari game is not TASable yet? But it would be extremely cool. Here in this video the player has to be meticulously careful around everything due to the dangerousness of enemies and the size of his hitbox. But a TAS could do an intricate dance, carve the tightest path possible, care little for lasers that might turn on, etc. It would be short and sweet and completely inhuman.

I would rather see a Duke Nukem II [DOS] TAS. Effort much better spent!

Now I'm confused, but I loved it, too. Well, I'm not insane, not yet, so Yes vote, to both of you guys.
He means it was slower but it wasn't slow enough to lose a 21 frame rule. (If you don't know what this means, the game can only advance to a new stage every 21 frames on a global timer, so you can only gain or lose time in 21 frame increments.)
