I agree with PikachuMan, this needs to be a separate category. And really I like the NTSC versioin better. But this would be an interesting addition to the site. I'd say MEH

The creatorof the TAS (sprocket) said that this winter he would be working on a new TAS. He expects it to be 40- 50 minutes faster.
And in my opinion we should use the English version.
But if someone who actually speaks Japanese and English would want to make subtitles, then I would say go on and make the Japanese TAS

I once again bring up the topic of the chain chomp glitch. Here is how you do it.
Jump on top of the chain chomp
Let Peach take the half-heart of damage.
Then let her stand for a fraction of a second (not sure exactly how long would be best, no more than a half a second?)
Then she will fly off the screen.
Control Peach when off screen. (you are also able to control Peach before she jumps, I think)
Caution: Not possible on that many levels.
Not sure if it works on the Japanese version

I discovered something (well Deign PMed me about it). Deign discovered Princess Peach moves at the same speed in the (J) ROM and (U) ROM (512 when walking, 768 when crying or using slidebrella). And there is more. Deign aso told me that the (U) ROM has less lag and the movements is more stable. I can't remember everything Deign told me excatly. I deleted the message Deign sent me, thinking he already posted the info, but he didn't so I decided to. Ask Deign fore more information.

BTW I forgot to mention... don't forget to get 777 coins on the roulette at the end of some of the levels so you can buy Floatbrella (to retain speed when jumping from a Slidebrella(or whatever it's called) and increase the size of your vibe.
The TAS isn't going well. Could someone tell me what RAM adresses to look for when hitting the goal and trying to get 777 coins (The thing that looks like a heart shapes peach)?

Sorry about the delay. Here are some tricks and glitches and rules.
Tricks/Glitches
1. On the Air Glider, Use Bulk Star and when you are in the air constantly press A (I forgot the gllitch... but you can probably try it.)
2. For the Drag Races, I recommend for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th course (if I remember correctly.) that you use the Rocket Star. However luck manipulation might be required to get more boost pads, due to the incredible negative acceleration of the vehicle.
3. If for some reason you might need the lighting bolts constantly alternate left and right to charge it faster (the faster you alternate the faster it charges)
4. I have heard that on high jump if you alternate up and down you will go higher. I have tried it and it didn't work. I assume I did something wrong
Rules
5. Turning makes you go slower (air or ground).
6. You go faster in the air than on the ground.
7. You go faster in the air if you go straight, except when you force your vehicle down
8. I think if you go on one of those vine things it is as fast as going in the air.

This movie is clearly improvable now because of the fire and jet glitches that have been discovered...
I think smns72 is working on a new one. It might take a while because manipulating the glitches are difficult (at least to me because I am only 13...). But I have done it before
Anyways, a definite NO

Honestly, I don't like long movies, but i try not to judge movies by length. For a long movie, this is pretty good. I had a feeling that the obsleted TAS could be improved! So I give it a YES

No, I do not. Plus I forgot to mention that the trick might ony save a few seconds and will only be useful on one level (on an any% speedrun according to what I figured out, two levels on a 100% speedrun). I also know many other glitches, but those would be useless for a TAS (unless it is like a glitch-a-thon)
But once I get the time I will upload the glitches on my Youtube account.
BTW, I am working on a TAS of this game too. You can see some of the previous attempts of me TAS'ing the game on my channel. You could learn potential tricks and you could tell me what I need to improve.
And one more thing, If anyone wants to speedrun this game 100%, here is a definition.
Buying every item, including infinite vibe, completing all levels (most twice!), collecting all toads, minigames, and puzzle pieces. And finishing all 10 levels of the 3 minigames. Completing all 8 puzzles. Killing one of every type of enemy.
