Ive got several problems using this emulator. Frame advance doesnt seem to do anything, also the hotkeys wont work. Most of the time I end up with a frozen screen, unable to do anything.

Just a question: I cant find it in the emulator thread nor the page: does this thing has mouse support? Ive currently no resources to test...

What about enterng the 30 star door? Does this new trick help to build up enough speed to get through the door and DDD without these slow BLJs you had to do at the door to get through? I dont understand the SM64 physics at all, so Im not sure whats the purpose of these few extra jumps against the wall

Loved this game. I think Croc 1 is the best choice, because of the flying glitch and the Gobbos cloning glitch. So go for 100%

Voting yes, quite entertaining run :) Quick question: Was H.R. Geiger involved in the design of this game or was his style just ripped off?

No it isnt. All this stuff youre mentioning was tested a long time ago. Its a diffrent map, only loaded if you and Zelda rech the exit. Though im not sure about the Zelda part, might be able to skip her. But dont know how. Oh and before anyone thinks of it, the bridge you cross in the trials hall in Ganons tower on your escape is a different one when you enter the tower first time. There are no exits, just plain black walls.

What item did you need again to RBA the warp song location to Ganons battle?

All the RBA stuff we know was brought up be the users of the SDA and TAS communities, not any Nintendo-Guys. So these people exactly know whats possible with RBA and whats not. And since these people worked on the routes, you sure can bet your ass that the current routes are the fastest possible. Unless of course we find a new trick (like odd mushroom early I believe would be).

Wouldnt the PSX version be far mor superior? I mean, now that we have the possabilitys of emulating PSX pretty well and having an emulator with TAS features, why not TAS the game on the system it was designed for?

this site is about competition and what will motivate swordless and co. more to do this TAS than publishing this run?
lol, I dont think so. swordless is a dick. I bet my ass he would leave this site if the TAS got accepted

Voting yes. Cant really understand why people keep arguing about the language here, especially with those statements like "if it counts for this, it must count for that!!". How old are you? 12? If the TAS would jump from a bridge, would the other TAS have to, too? Also everybody realizes that the improvement doesnt come from using the J rom. The guy who did it never hat TASvideos in mind, so he used the rom he could most easily understand. An improvement is desperatly needed, so why not go with this. I see, that ita suboptimal, but mostly to the trained eye. Oh and I would bet my ass, that even if he did use the U rom all the NO!!-voters still would've voted no

But usually in 100% runs only what's in your menu counts. I could probably find a dozen 100% runs here and on SDA where items are cloned. Why is OoT so different? If you want to expand 100% for things outside of the menu you would have to include planting all magic beans and opening all keyed doors. That's imo just stupid.
Show me one on SDA, I would be surprised if there would be any

Maybe a community-TAS would be the best choice for a 100% run?

all in all there are three big boos in BBH. The first in the lobby after killing the smaller ghosts, second in the merry-go-round in the basement, again after killing all the ghosts in there and finnaly the third big boo, as you said, on top of the roof ;)

I would find it to be quite funny to take as many of your oponents pawns as you can get, while you lose as little as you can. And if AI manipulation might be out of question because of the loading times, what about a two player run? In this case you could show really weird glitches in the chess engine, and maybe resulting in a really bizarre checkmate. I still think though, that bashing the cpu is the best way for a chess TAS

Publications have dates, surely the user can decide that they are aged with a bit of help from mathmatics.
Yeah, about that. Everytime I look for the date, I search several seconds till I realise its right next to the movie-file. I find this quite irritating, since I dont know if thats the date the movie was finished, it was submitted OR it was published? I think it would be alot more comfortable if there were 2 or 3 more lines listing these dates. Also I think the date it got published should be mentioned in the title of the movie
