Controllers would work
No they wouldn't as you don't know if it means best TASer for system X or best TAS for system X.
What about system logos or consoles for TASes and controllers for TASers, since controllers are what players actually use http://www.ix.sakura.ne.jp/~yoshi/icon/game/all.gif

I still find this Fake Owl glitch, that warps you into the mayors office to be very interesting. If there - against all odds - is some way to skip most of the game, I guess it would have to do with something like manipulating memory adresses so you end up on the moon. But I really guess its stupid and highly unlikely :D

Just tried sequence breaking by only freeing one giant. (you need one to learn Oath to Order, of course) Turns out you *can* play the Oath to Order and *can* get the giant to come, but the moon doesn't stop. Will try with two and three giants and see if that works. lol, not only did the bad ending not finish, but for some reason Project64 gave an exception error... I have found something that may speed up the water hopping portions as a Deku Scrub though (if there are any left with new TAS runs): Spinning off the ledge causes you to hop forward at the same speed you spun with. (sorta like the shield/bomb trick only forward instead) I'm sure it's been noticed before, but just in case it hasn't... And looking at the SDA video, I see a good few minutes of improvement that are just due to human error... I could easily see this end up at close to 1:45 if not 1:30 TAS'ed...
No offense... but have you ever even played the game?

What are the technical limitations for the game wehn you say "simple" windows games? At what point does "complex" begin?

I hope youve already read it, best book I ever read. Especialy since I find the Dirk Gently-Novels way more entertaining then the Hitchhiker-Series.

No idea why that high on Sci-Fi/Comic though. Just because I could acquire DCs Watchmen in 15 seconds?

What tricks/glitches/cheats are so deep stuck in your head, that you even would remember them on your deathbed? For me, I will never forget what exactly to do next in Monkey Island. Picked this up a few days ago again and still remember what to do from wehn I was still a small child.

Thats correct, but the game wouldnt wait for the CPUs to finish, but it does wait for human (TA) players. Even if its a fraction of a second, it would still be slower

Found this really weird glitch in Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 where you fly right through the sky and stuff. Really weird. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VXARwG0VVA

What would be the point of MQ BA anyway? The only difference between normal OoT and MQ are the dungeons, as you said. And since you wont finish one, the runs would be quite similar

Not right, though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_%28term%29 But I do agree that there is no way in hell that this creationist knew about this fact.

How can he possibly argue that way? I mean even if there was such a giant flood, it would still be a fact of evolution. A change over time

Well, TASVideos isn't a multimillion company... it's about making maybe a few hundred bucks to keep the server running...
But there are tons of examples of copyright holders (including very especially gaming companies) sending cease&desist notices to hobbyists who aren't even making any money from it. How much likely it would be if they actually are making money out of it, no matter how little?
What on earths name would their legal justifications be? Ads on a site are totally fine, then it would be illegal to have ads on this site as well as we provide videos showing game footage. Hell, SDA even puts several ads on their games pages, dont you think they checked the legal circumstances beforehand?

Well, you seem to forget that not even half of the viewers would bother klicking that stupid ad anyways. Also: Lawsuit? How? Your not making money with their trademarks, your just having an ad enabled on the site. If that would be illegal, many sprite comics who use ads would have had legal problems by now...

well, what do the ads have to do with the channel view or subscriptions? Sounds odd
