Ok, me and Angerfist are about to start improving the existing run. But yesterday, I've just noticed a password that unlock an harder difficulty mode. Should we use the code or not?

That explains why critical hits are so rare at end of the end game .... :S I did noticed it but I didn't know it was caused by some bug but rather by Heroes agility vs enemy's agility or affected by some other ability.

Imo, using E is not the good way. I didn't watched this run nor xipo's one. I can't tell which one is better. What I am sure is that movies using PAL version of any games did always confused decisions and such. If it's proven that this run is really faster than xipo's run, even if there is some flaws, I suggest it to accept it. But I have a question. Which one does have the fastest intro? J or E?

Ok so when there is"Tellah vs. Edward" fight, does it mean that Rydia and Cecil loses critical hit? And is there some proof or something?

Thanks to Nitrodon for telling me to try equipping the sword in battle, which saved 150 some odd frames as well as allowing me to have the purple cecil glitch without wasteing any time.
I've done that in my WIP some 1.5 years ago. I'd recommend watching the movie. Though, the GBA version is really different, it might help you.

Ok here is the file of the bug I did mentioned some times ago. I don't know if you did fixed it while then but here is the FCM file. In short, I did edited the FCM then play it in FCEU. The movie never stops playing. Edit: I think what I have edited is author info. I wanted to add Morrison since I did started the TAS alone.

Ok, I should have posted this some times ago. When making Castlevania with Morrison, The movie suddenly desync. Even though I open a valid "from movie" savestate, it still desync. So here is the movie with savestate. It's save #5. Open the movie and load the state. It is recording according to FCEU but if you play the movie it will still desync. Btw, I put a link for 1st post for this and a state for Zelda where emulation is crashing. I will post one later for Bionic Commando when I will have the chance to happen ,which will but I didn't worked on it recently.

Did you opened the correct version. Here, it's 1.43 that crackles a lot.

Then I'm voting no for uses of console reset. Since I'm member, the main policy is to abuse controllers. Reset is not part of Snes controller afaik.

And 1.43 does have more issues... 1.51 is BETTER. Oh and yes I can ask.

As for save / reset.
What is that? Not reset as console reset? Btw, you did used 1.1 as for FF2 version. And the video is desyncronising... Also, next time, use snes9x 1.51.

4. Compared to Phil's GBA run
Oh, I didn't even know I do have a run for that game... Btw, don't compare with my "WIP", first of all I need to restart the "WIP". And most important, the games are too different to make comparison. It's like comparing SMB1 with SMB2J.

False. There are laws about video games.

Do it on per-approve basis as is currently done with uhh… everything else here.
Not really true.

No because the rule states that movie must stop when Mario hits the axe.

Are you sure? I don't remember file splitting in FCEU and Snes9x. But do remember it exists in Gens.

I didn't watched it but why the NES version? It should, at least, be done on Snes. Btw, for those who wonders, it's Romance of three kingdoms 2 on NES.

As for excuse #4, I already saw the opposite. "Wow, so few rerecords, the player must be good. Let publish the movie."

Who in the world plays Contra for its plot?
Not me. I didn't even know there was "supposedly" a story... Btw, I am almost convinced to buy a DS just for that game. :P

Another excuse: It beats a run done by X, it should be published. Ex.

I got bored watching it. Is it me or the music in that game doesn't fit with the Smurfs theme... :s And Gargamel isn't much taller than the Smurf :s
