I'd prefer if a F-Zero TAS completed all the circuits, and also aimed for first place. Abstaining.
Same here.

Very yes, loved the way the final battle turned out (I always had to meteor his throne to get rid of that obscene DEF boost) and lots of little surprises during the run-- it's got me wondering which path through Der Langrisser would be the shortest for an any% run. Amazing how very little grinding was required to get everyone where they needed to be as far as classes/units/spells. Too bad about Elwin being the only one that can trip the secret tiles, everything else was action-packed. Really glad you came back to this, fantastic job!

Hilarious animations. The overall style reminds me a lot of the SNES Gundam F-91 game. It might be fun to see that get wrecked up sometime.

The ArtX chip in the Gamecube doesn't have a PC counterpart. However the system architecture is much simpler and the graphics pipeline is much closer in design to a modern 3D accelerator than the RDP in the N64, despite some weird idiosyncracies that have required leveraging very recent GPU features to allow for pixel-accurate rendering in hardware.

Why does this show up twice on the front page? Just because it obsoleted 2 separate movies?

What is with the sound design in this game, why do the red rings sound like a mech walking or something?

Autoscrolling TASes generally aren't that entertaining to watch unless there's enough complexity in the game's systems to take advantage of for lots of entertaining tricks, which this game really doesn't have. (Now, an Armed Police Batrider or Raiden Fighters Jet TAS...) The play is impressive enough but it doesn't look "superhuman." In STG superplays the player is generally very proactive, positioning for enemy waves and bullet patterns before they appear. This play looks much more reactive, with lots of unnecessarily large blind dodges and enemies given plenty of time to get into the playfield. Good effort, but no vote for entertainment.

This was awesome, loved the autoscroller skip since that was the weakest part of the last run. Can't wait to see if the 100% run on latest version speculated on above will appear next.

I'd like to see the 100% run on the new version, so we can see the super-sekrit boss getting TAStroyed :)

Not at all related to the publication of this particular movie but not sure where else to put it. I'd like to see a compo done with a total control TAS that uses controller data to enter the payload. The authors of the exploit provide the input file up to the point where the payload should be input, and then let the community see who can come up with the best demo/homebrew within the limitations and constraints of the game/cartridge/method of pwn0rship.

Halfway through the run so far (will finish it before inevitably voting yes) but good god what happened to the Punies? Did you glitch them out or is that just a Dolphin issue?

Yes vote, thanks for the detailed commentary, I could understand what I was watching even though I've never played the game.

I think Blazing Lazers (the North American release of the game in the video) inspired a lot of western developers around that time, although it would have been better if they'd taken more inspiration from the caravan (time-limited score attack) mode shown in that video than the stupidly long main game with its uneven difficulty. This game came up in a discussion about blatant quarter munchers, so I was wondering if there were any stable rerecording emulators that support the Williams Y-Unit hardware to try and see if an assisted 100% 1cc would be possible.

These megaman hacks always have at least one track from Super Robot Wars too, for some reason.
Whoever did this hack loves Squaresoft. Are there any RM hacks that use original music composed just for the hack?
