Is that the same as this game?

So uh... what's with the people (moozooh, DarkKobold) who have faster upload speeds than download speeds? It just doesn't make any sense.

I have a better upload speed than most people here. Maybe I should find a way to put it to use.

Excellent run. It both entertained me and reminded me of why I love to hate this game.

I take it the reason you aren't doing MM1 is lack of a teleporter room? :( Also, this video is somewhat relevant to the topic at hand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPbXY_U07B8

Star Fox 64 - Sector Z or Fortuna in a high score run.

I selected "Internet" without hesitation.

First Science Geek in the thread. Ha! (And yes, I can find a periodic table in my house within 15 seconds.)

Has the trick been tested on any of the Wily Fortress bosses? From the looks of it, it might be possible on the first Bass fight.

It's based the same principle as the short charge.

Lots of noticeable improvements. I'm impressed.

Probably because the name Rescue Rangers wasn't "cool enough" for them.

I remember encountering some sort of weird glitch in the Tournament Mode of SSBM where (under very specific conditions) a match would end instantly (the announcer would say "Game!" then "Go!) because of the lack of an opponent. Unlike most of the other glitches in this thread, I remember being able to reproduce it. Sadly, I don't remember how I did it.

While I tend to enjoy most of these nerdy critic guys, I don't really watch any of them consistently. I used to watch Yahtzee (Zero Punctuation), but his rather coarse humor eventually got on my nerves (the same reason I don't watch AVGN) and he seemed to be rehashing many of the same points most of the time. The only reviewer I do watch nowadays is the HVGN (though he never seems to be able to produce videos on any consistent basis). He may not be as "entertaining" as the others, but I find that his general informativeness balances it out. He's basically like HG101 in video form.

I was playing this game last night. I found it to be fun and simple, yet clever, platformer. However, I couldn't get past the final stage and I was getting tired, so I decided to watch this run in the morning. It was both entertaining and optomized-looking imo. You even killed the bosses of the shmup stages like I thought you would. I await an improved version. :)

Of the items on the list, cartography is probably the worst casualty. I wasn't really around back when games rarely had maps, but going back and playing games without maps I find something really compelling about mapping as you go. It's hard for me to describe really, but Warp described one of the cool aspects of it. Plus, it totally makes you feel awesome once you figure out the layout to a level/area. Granted, I've heard of some games that actually attempt to thwart mapping efforts. For instance, I've heard that some of the early Wizardry (?) games, which were first person dungeon crawlers, had squares on the map that would randomly rotate you or teleport you to an identical looking area in the dungeon with no warning or indication whatsoever. I don't think I need to say anything more about that. Oh, and on a related note, whoever invented stick-twirling can and should die in a fire.

Very nice. This looks like it will make a very nice addition to the site's collection of "grapple game" TASes. Any progress in the past few days?

Likewise, Mega Man 4GB, 5GB, 7, 8*, and Bass. Also, many of the games in the later series have shops too IIRC. *In this case the money supply is finite.

Just like Mega Man 1 and 2! (Except without the glitching.)
