Route is changing again. We will now skip faron twilight, and do the zombie hover over the kakariko gorge. By ljaing onto the fence for the zombie hover when can land here, which is roughly 1:30 faster than what i had previously done. I also found a way to go towards the bridge instead of around the other side of the fence after crossing the gorge, which saves around 12 seconds or so. A video of that is at http://youtu.be/j6eiFTyfrqA , though that is about 1 minute slower on the zombie hover than what can be done. Not sure what the exact route will be yet, but i'd expect it to be roughly 45-60 seconds faster.

I really, really do wish that there were another game you could write, then beat in the usual tas fashion. Semi unrelated question: wasn't the procedure to "jailbreak" a wii kind of like this? Didn't the usual method involve changing the horse's name so that it overwrote a function pointer to point to an area of memory that you had control over?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zif-0RxXNhM It can't be done with just the game and a controller though. The save file needs to be edited.

Then you should stay out of this forum. There's a thread here for English discussion.

No it's not. Can't overclock too much on stock cooling. And have fun running dolphin without overclocking.
My 2500k and 560ti runs dolphin at stock clock speeds at 60+fps. I'm sure that you could run dolphin just fine with an i3 at stock with a lower spec GPU, possibly a 550ti or a similar model card from the new AMD line. Also, I'm entirely against spending that much money on an SSD for a TAS machine. These are old games, there's not much to load, so they load almost instantly on a regular HDD anyways. You can cut the sound card too, every modern mobo has sound built in.
You're using all kinds of speed hacks that are unnacceptable for tasing. Also, consider it's often desired to run as fast as possible when playing back a movie. An ssd isn't that useful for tasing (except when it is, with 30 mb+ save states), but it's still very useful for other things. He did say he'd like to play games on it.

No, every motherboard comes with sound. You don't need a soundcard unless you're producing music, or something. Should be fine then. I should stream dolphin coding sometimes. Should be just as fun. ok.

You don't need a sound card. The video card is not great. It should run most games at medium-high settings, but might struggle a little on some games. Should be fine for the most part, if you don't mind not being able to run everything on ultra at 7680x1600 though. Why would you want to stream tasing? People actually pay for windows?

Er, gc is 8 bytes per frame. 40 mib would be 5,242,880 frames. You'd be cutting it close with 4 controllers, but otherwise it's really only a concern with (multiple) wiimotes. And even then...

New changes: otu0001's wiimote fixes are now in master. There is no longer a 40 MiB limit to movies. Md5 checksums are now saved to the .dtm, and verified when playing back a movie. The input counter now works for wii games when using a gc controller.

Well, the good news is dolphin's core is completely separate from it's gui. I expect dolphinhawk within a month.

(details on the "How can I get Dolphin to work?" topic in the appropriate category),
There is literally no details in that thread. Whatever your problem is, it probably has a solution here.
