I can tell you that using VirtualBox (which is free) with Windows 7 has troubles with Visual Boy Advance. I use Parallels on my Mac. It costs a bit, but it gets the job done.

They tolerate me! They really tolerate me! But seriously folks. I'm afraid the original data (MP4/h264) doesn't quite hold up to standards. I actually ended up using a screen recorder (iShowU HD) to capture the video since I wasn't able to snag the Dega source to set it up on Linux with MEncoder. Later tonight if this video is still without proper encode I'll have a go at it, but don't wait up for me.
