This was fun to watch, my eyes began aching a bit trying to keep up with stuff near the end so I definitely wouldn't have been able to play for that long. Funny to see a killscreen for going too fast on a game designed for going fast.

Entertaining to watch as with the previous ones, it is good to see the entire score being maxed on just the first guy. I prefer the column type puzzle battles like Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Pokemon Puzzle League with the throwing stuff on the opponent, but since it only lasts a few minutes it definitely keeps my attention for the full duration.

I think the Burrower "serious" image would be the best myself, I like the idea of just ignoring the game trying to summon the dino and hitting him in the face while the cutscene is trying to start. A typical TAS thing to do.

I like the TAS itself and I think you did a great job for your first TAS, but sadly I did feel like I had to vote 'meh' just due to the entertainment of the game itself, the waiting around for tickets which are out of reach and the lift stage and pretty redundant helicopter and especially final boss fights did really drag the video's entertainment down. I like how you optimised the driving stages and the like though. so it is a good TAS for sure, and hopefully others feel like it deserves a moon regardless of my vote. I also really liked the commentary on the video, never played it myself so it is good to get that information on the reasons for taking actions etc.

Questionable improvement wise would it be faster in the prison to use / glitch the lift to destroy the wall (around 3:08 on nitrogenesis' currently published run) and then going back up to push him onto the lift? Thanks for the quick temp encode.
Good question, obviously it was tested at planning :) If to destroy this wall earlier like you say, next time when Lester will back to this screen, guard below will be already "ready" to shoot, and in this case will be impossible to execute this sequence break. Btw normal encode in submission text.
Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up as I didn't check on the project testing myself. Good to see they gave it a try.

Pushing along the guy onto the lift was a good improvement for sure. Even though entertainment wise I prefer the previous run where he glitches the lift a bit and killed random stuff before going back up to wait. But if it does save time then can't argue against it. Questionable improvement wise would it be faster in the prison to use / glitch the lift to destroy the wall (around 3:08 on nitrogenesis' currently published run) and then going back up to push him onto the lift? May be a slight bit quicker since you wouldn't have to destroy the wall when you get down after or would it screw up the pushing him onto the lift trick since it mentions it needs to be precisely timed? Thinking since you are having to wait there it looks like it might be possible to fit in if it won't screw stuff up. Thanks for the quick temp encode.

I didn't use glitches, only one, because glitches are boring and you can't know what is the fastest way defeating the level.
Sadly your 3:55.7 time even for a single level is over 3 times as long as the time this level took when glitching. Looking at Nitsuja and Upthorn's TAS of this they took 1:11 game time to beat Act 2 of Flying Battery Zone. You may personally think glitches are boring, but without them it is clearly FAR slower. It is true that the game may still be beaten faster, people may either find better optimisation or even manage to find a way to execute an arbitrary code or skip to the game end screen like in Super Mario World. (which would be an amazing thing to see as with every game they manage to do that with!) But whatever way is found to increase the speed, it is a fact it will be through glitches as can be seen they just make the game so much faster, it would be impossible to compensate without being able to use them in one way or another. I do admire the fact you want to avoid glitches, but you will need to find a different game to do that with which would be able to be beaten fast and be entertaining enough for people to be willing to accept a none glitched run with. Usually though such runs are only accepted when the runs that do use glitches are not entertaining to watch (like you can't actually see anything on the screen) so they will accept a slower run not using them for entertainment reasons to actually be able to enjoy it.

This was an amusing run with not fully understanding getting poisoned and losing until noticing it somehow acted like using an escaperope / teleport, it is definitely the earliest I've seen a level 100 pokemon in these type of runs so far myself. That added to the brock walk through walls glitch made this entertaining. Didn't ever expect to get to the elite four in 10 minutes without using memory corruption. The guy before mentioned it seems like it may be possible to increase the speed still, perhaps by getting a glitch battle with a pokemon that won't be ineffective against some of those Agatha pokemon? Then again Nidoking is overpowered to everything else still though~ The true unsung hero of this TAS is B. Your rival manages to catch and level up 6 pokemon past level 60 in barely 15 minutes. He may have lost to you, but that will remain a record for the ages.....Or he could have just used rare candies.
