I also watched Upthorn's Knuckles run. I was pretty impressed by his runs of the special stages (well, the first three, didn't watch more than that). I guess I should replicate his first one for extra speed, but I wouldn't want to copy #2 and #3 because jumping into a see of red spheres is abuse as I see it...
IMO it's not really abuse. back on my old Genesis, I used to use it all the time to avoid those tricky situations where I accidentally turn or something. I'm not sure jumping in between the spheres is something the programmers didn't intend, at least. Maybe I'm missing the point..

This run delivers. After watching the 16-star run (which was published all but 4 days ago) and then watching your WIP I have to say I was very eager to watch how this all ended. Along with the techniques which were in AKA's 16-star run, I would have to say I love Tick Tock Clock and its insane moving platforms which looked so much easier than it is, and the carpet part of the Rainbow Ride. Would-be yes vote.

Having watched the previous, classic run, I knew alot of what to expect. Even so, this run still amazed me. Here are some things that came to mind during the run: *OMG SPOILERS* Start:"Why is he going downstairs? umm.. he just jumped through the wall... the backwards long jump here?! wtf, bowser already?!?!" Bob-omb Battlefield:"Okay this bit looks familiar. Wait, whats he doing on the platform? desync? backwards long jump again?! WTF, through the bars?" Bob-omb Battlefield:"....he just.... ran up a mountain.... backwards...." Whomp's fortress (Star 2): "you harsh harsh man! you brokes teh music :( " I especially like the Bowser 3 course. That was just incredible.

First of all, first post to the forums for me, but I'm a long time viewer of TASVideos, so hi :) I have created a duel-display AVI of this SA run, with unhacked emulator on the left, hacked cam on the right, with a 4px white border separating them. I have encoded it two ways: XViD and X264, and it has audio from the unhacked emulator. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to upload it to (its about twice the size of the original movie, give or take a few MB). I'll keep looking, and if required I can upload it to my own webspace for an admin or someone to download. Oh yeah, and Nitsuja, this and all your other runs are absolutely awesome.
